Yes, mine was also Original Sensible Seeds. I don't have one in flower right now, but I will take picts. soon as 2 are ready to move as soon as room in flower becomes available. I used to have Bruce #3 it was great, but I lost the strain when I moved the grow to a farming town on the outskirts of the city.
Herbies said to file a claim, so I just did. I have very little expectation of receiving new seeds or anything for that matter, but you never know

My 5 Bruce banner seeds all germinated. 2 phenos. Both big. 1 bigger. The smaller 1 had a better nose. Both were susceptible to wpm( prolly my fault). I will be flowering my wedding cookies in the next month. I'm organic top dressing. How are yours growing? What medium, nutes?

Mine broke ground about a month ago and are 6" now. The idea was to go to flower after taking clones. All look too small. I have a journal here

Come holla at me over there

Update: I might have to rescind my earlier comments on Herbies. They are dealing with me long after the guarantee expired and
the Wedding Cookies plant that sprouted, is a very nice plant, just to be fair. I will let you know what happens, but they are trying to make it right.

Hi @Livingblacksoil ,

We are extremely sorry to hear that you're not satisfied with our products and service.

When the seeds come to a customer not in the original packages, it means that they have been sent using the stealth method. We do this to increase the chances of the parcel to pass the customs. We are always ready to provide the customer with a video of how we remove the seeds out of their original packages so they could make sure that the products is 100% original.

Also, we are very open to communication when some problems with our products occur. If the seeds do not germinate/you face any other issues, it's the best to speak to our Quality Control Team about it.

Could you please tell us a bit more about your negative experience with us? It'd be perfect to know about it better.

Thanks,
Herbies Seeds

I hereby rescind my earlier comments. I will be buying from Herbies again.
Herbies reached out to me on this site after I posted a bad review, and months after my satisfaction guarantee had expired.
Their claims department asked for pictures of failed seeds, luckily, I had saved a couple out of a forlorn hope that I could get them to germinate somehow. I sent them picts through e-mail. They said they would resend the order and that I would be responsible for shipping. I went ahead and ordered more seeds and got the free shipping and a couple of new strains.
99% germination rate after 2 1/2 days on every seed. I have one hold out still in the towel on the heating pad, a Mimosa Shot seed. She looks good and I still have hope that she cracks soon. I got 9 out 0f 10 so far.
They saw a customer with a problem and reached out to me. They then made everything right, despite the fact that my guarantee had expired. I like that business model and attitude. They were polite and helpful through the whole claims process.
The Wedding Cookies that I germinated out of my first order was as advertised, a healthy plant that grows kick ass weed. I am looking forward to raising my new babies. I still haven't germinated my Amnesia lemon. It looks great, nice job.

Stay on top of the IPM on that BB#3, WPM. A couple smelled berryish but the smoke was meh at best. Wedding cookies I'm running now are fast and they seem big, but my expectations are pretty low based on previous Herbie's harvests.

Are you telling me that you pay people to transfer beans from original packaging? Get the fuck outta here. How is that more stealth?IMG_20220226_183710.jpgIMG_20210526_162511.jpg Please explain how your packaging is more stealth because I can't see a bloody thing. I will not stop sharing my truth. Wankers.

Stop messaging me, unless you wanna refund my purchases.

herbies are very responsible, if you lose your package they send you again..that one or two people did not go well, it means nothing..
for me the only problem is that you can't pay with western union.

Thank you for your positive feedback. We do our best to improve our payment system.

Just want my beans in the breeders packaging. Call me cuckoo.
They've done me good except my first order of th seeds bubblegum seeds I ordered from them a year ago were dark black and didn't germinate , not one , I think maybe they just get a scamming employee every once in a while , a few months ago I ordered the same thing and got some killer looking seeds and they had an extra in there in a separate container

...I have since learned a bit about seed banks and will try DCSE or GLG next time...
what are DCSE and GLG?
i seem to be using all the seed banks everyone complains about... :( (seedsman, ilgm, herbies, the vault)
and am looking for a good go-to bank.

seedsman. i can't complain about seedsman. have had great germ rates with them, and if i have a problem, they have replaced free of charge. they take all sorts of payment methods and their customer service is great.

ilgm, only bought one set of seeds from them and of the 5 seeds in the pack, only one popped. total bummer. but that one plant is VERY healthy.

herbies - i just ordered one of their mixed packs. they sent it out right away, but it's sitting in a "logistics center" in the US for the last 5 days. unmoving. not herbie's fault, but still annoying.

the vault i just ordered from as well. IMO they have a lot of hidden costs you don't see untill you're in checkout. a $70 order ended up costing $113. ridiculous. unfortunately they were the only seedbank (this late in season) that i could find that had grandaddy purple seeds... in stock. the other problem is their payment systems are jacked up. won't take cards. i had to do a bank transfer (which cost me an additional $30 from the bank). unless my hard to find seeds get here tomorrow, i would say negative experience.

Ive done bissnes with herbies for many many years, since these guys were in the uk (hocus pocus). I used to drive half way across the country to see these guys because we always felt it was worth it. Afew times ive ordered things for example a fem 5pack of a specific strain ordered online. But it might of been out of stock, and on more than one occasion they have at no extra cost just sent the next size up of the same strain. Ive even had them send rare regular 10 packs of seeds of the same strain some which were no longer even available. I was pretty disappointed when they left the uk but understood it was for the best. Always had good stock, and I seen for myself they would always store it in a controlled environment. Great company, and one I would recommend to anyone.

It's more like comparing a discount steak from Walmart and a filet mignon from a butcher you trust.
If you're being honest about your experiences then you remember white boxes that said Corn Flakes not being as good as kellogg's( crazy man that he was the cereal is good).
White labels mean something. Breeders have brands and packaging for a reason. Would you buy white labelled Oreos or Doritos in an unsealed package? Maybe Oscar Meyer Weiners white labelled on a Ziploc?
There are comparably priced seedbanks in the USA that will send beans in breeders packaging.I didn't know better. Now I do. Maybe my experience can save the next grower some time.

Btw I have some Herbie's beans pictured above I'd love to resell to you. Make me an offer.
Hhhmm . Not sure some understand boarder control. Seeds coming into the country without a photosanitry certificate is a no no. And seeds sent In bulky breeders packaging would just be asking to be easily found and destroyed. Its why when seedbanks/distributors (key word bank, not seed breeder/maker) when sending to other countries will have to remove all the bulky packaging, but the seeds are still original and are then packed in a way they are more discrete. Herbies have been around a long time and are well respected, so they must be doing something right.

You're right man. the packages Ive received from them are sent so discreetly, once I didn't recognize the seeds inside and went to claim about the missing product they asked me to look better and I found them. My bad. Great services no problemm, hope to have business with them in future
