"choose a mother that is at least two months old. Some do okay pumped with nutes but if your having trouble leach your soil for a week first. Make a 45 degree cut across .125-.25in wide branches, two to four inches in length. Trim off two or three sets of leaves and nodes so there should be at least two sets of leaves above the soil line and one or two sets of trimmed nodes below the soil. When cutting, make the slice halfway between the sets of nodes. Immediately place the cut end in water for storage while cutting more clones. use your rapid rooter (thats what I used fwiw), saturate with water and make a small hole with a chop stick or something and once they go in pinch the top of the cube so the medium is in full contact with the stem.. Fill your tray with PH water 5-6.
I cut my main stem up the middle a bit and acutally lightly scraped off a bit of outer flesh as well
Not sure what your incubator does, but I just used a humidity dome and misted them twice daily at first and slowly worked down to less and less humidity.
If using liquid hormone use the ratio for softwood cuttings and swirl each cutting for 5-15 seconds and place in medium. gels and powders just dip, get a nice layer on and plant.
Lightly water keeping moist at all times but not soggy.
Best under18-24 hours of fluoro lights (I did 20/4). Keep HID's further away. Keep humidty (95% while rooting) and soil temps up (75-80F).
they may wilt at first and thats fine but those who take longer then a week to look normal and root you may want to just kill.
Well, that should be the jist of it. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. I'm in no way an expert and I'm just learning myself but will try my best to give sound advice when I'm able. I wouldn't be opposed to a little rep+ for that if you think it's worth it btw.. lol!
