ok so im getting ready to start my first grow, 4 plant dwc with drip in an 4x2x8, got my 400w mh ready and a 400 hps ready for flowering, and walls painted white.have an air in and out ready, and a small fan to blow on the plants.I only missing two things.Seeds which i hope are coming this week, and my nutes.

Ive decided to go with the AN 3 step grow micro bloom, using a GH ratio ie, veg 3:2:1 bloom 1:2:3 and have fox farm big bloom.

Now my question is, Am i missing any other important nutes, i mean i know i can buy like every product and they'd be useful, but is there any integral ones ive missed , doesnt hafta be AN although if i remember from reading on here mixing dif companies isnt always a great idea.

Anyway any input would be appreciated thanks:mrgreen:

i'd say stick with one brand. I love fox farms, grow big, big blooms and tiger bloom as well as the extra additives open sesame, buds on demand, and cha ching, for increased essential oils. the one i don't need is the beastie blooms you only use that for one week

AN also has B52 witch is like a speed to the plant thast about all we use for veg & we also use the calmag from another brand cause its cheaper than thier synzimes & has both of them in 1 bottle for 18$

look into carboload.....
...Which is molasses. Make your own. 1 tablespoon molasses whipped into a gallon of water. I add a kelp extract to that, and feed to the roots direct-might be a little sticky in DWC, I have no experience of them but someone on the site will have tried it and be able to let you know of any problems.

yeah but ill take precautions im gonna flush every week so shouldnt be too bad of a build up
but again thanks for the advice

u dont need molases, someone did a journal test with it & did a test with & without same conditions same time. & really ddint get a diffrence.
also AN has a calculator on their site for how manny gallons of wayer u are using ect.. way better
we use AN our selves & it works good.
but dont use their full amount cause it will put the ppm high. u use about half what they say u should use for the # of gallons u use, your ppm should be from 450-600ppm, so is u use 1/4 it will be aorund 200-450. u get it
here is thier web site calculator remember to change the setting on the calculator for veg/bloom/ gallons or metric.
Advanced Nutrients' Nutrient Calculator - Analyze Soil Chemistry and Plant Nutrient Levels for Your Hydroponic or Indoor Garden.

we use the medium feeding only cause our plants dont like nuts over 1000ppm, all depends on your breed. A very strong/ genetic breed can take nuts 1200ppm & up.
but the formula i recomend still applies cause u will over shoot your ppm goal very easy.
remember its easy to raise the ppm not lower it.
& normally growing indoors u dont need all that voodoo stuff & other pestasides. unless your house is very vonderble. we are in week 3 off flower & still havent had any problems.
read their site it will tell u what everything does.

awesome i think ive nailed it down. im gonna use the 3 part with f-1, h-2, b52, sensizyme(or a similar product), and maybe voodoo juice for veg and all the above(minus voodoo) plus bud blood, big bud , overdrive and final phase. ive also got fox farms big bloom, can i use it instead of big bud?

also for the veg cycle do i use 1/4 week one, 1/2 week two, etc until its full strength at week 4? than flush and start the medium feed scheduel?

i guess u can use the fox farm, but i dont think its recomended mixing diff brands. but i may be wrong. like i was saying about the synzime is thier a company that has a product called calmag , witch is both of AN's synzims in 1 bottle for like 18$ compared two 20$ each for AN.
but yes you can start off the nuts like that, but its more of your plants telling u they can take more cause if they start 2 burn them u need to back down on nuts.
aslo u dont flush when going from veg to bloom. just start the new cycle.
u jsut start using more bloom now & add a few more bud stimulants.
flush the plantsd when your bloom cycle is over & your ready to harvest.

awesome thank you very much, so do i use the same measures as the sensizyme? also with the fox farm would u consider that comparible to the big bud, like could i use it instead of, or including. thanks

CalMag is a supplement for additional Calcium and Magnesium, if your nutrient doesn't have enough already. I don't think there are any beneficial enzymes in it. For an alternative product of Sensizyme, there is Cannazyme, and Hygrozyme.
