Have Arabs stopped building cities? No.... why don't they stop?

If it is all based on religion.... than it is an easy call. The violence is always initiated by the Muslims. They want the JEWS out...all the way out.

I don't side with violence/terrorism, so I favor Israel in that regard.

Now let's just take the other perspective and say it isn't religious. So strip away the religion angle and just stick to political.

What you have is Arab countries which are not based on democracy plotting and attacking the only Democracy in the region.

That's an easy call as well. I side with the Democracy...

So don't forget, when you side with the Arabs, you side with totalitarian regimes...fiefdom govt's. You also side with nations who allied themselves with the Nazis, and not the free world. Pattern there.

Last but not least...if you strictly go by the U.N., then you must side with Israel again, since it was all voted and approved by the U.N.

If you feel that the U.N. made a mistake...keep that in mind on other U.N. issues...such as Iran.

Arab lands - muslim - aggressive - non democratic

Israel - Jewish/Muslim/Christian - defender - democratic

Not a difficult choice. Unless you have a different agenda.

By doing that you are using inappropriate means to justify your end

Fact is, the deeply rooted religious doctrines are the cause of the problems in the region

The muslim countries hostile towards Israel believe its existence imposes on Dar al-Islam, whereas the Jews believe is it their land because of the prophecy in the Torah

By removing the religious aspect you are oversimplifying and not doing justice to the issue

The modern state of isreal does not represent jews. Therefore it is wrong to label someone an anti-semitic for not agreeing with you. Can we agree that Israel is currently a secular state?

When people hold special criticism that they reserve only for the one Jewish state, and when they make a specific effort to believe lies in order to condemn it, that person is guilty of anti-Semitism. The root problem is at fault, and that was the creation of the modern state of Israel. You speak of Israel as if its a living thinking being that has rights :wall:

yes, they have no right to exist. Israel wasn't even a country until 1947. You say the UN is antisemitic, they are the ones who annexed the land israel started with in 1948. since then they have ruthlesly gobbled up land, displacing people whos families had lived there for 400 years.
no problem with the jews as a whole, they are just like anyone else, but i don't like israel. I don't like it's influence on our foreign policy, they are an unnecessary irritant in general. ever since israel was created in 1948, it has been a pain in everyone's ass and a general monkeywrench in the works.
