Here We Grow Again

Well here we grow again. And I hope I got this figgured out. Well my Name is Wood and my Lady's is Miss J. I figgure it's time to start a journal here with Rollit.
I'll have to get use to useing this site so cross you fingers. One thing about me is you'll find I have no format to my grows. They are ongoing. Inside and out, 'weather permits'. So I'll have to start will some of the newer plants I have going. Well these plants are under a 600 Watter in a 4X4 I use soil. Or I guess soilless. I mainly use Black Gold. I throw abit of amendments to the soil. Things such as blood/bone meal.I also Inoculate. I have been using this stuff from Xtreme Gardening called Mykos'. The staple fertilizers are from Technaflora. I do a hydro every once in awhile, then I use the tried and true GH Flora. Well rite now I have afew pic's to post. Here's the first little Girl

View attachment 1983420This is one of my mothers. It's called Iced Grapefruit from FEMALE SEEDS I've grown her before. Infact I have about 6 oz's drying off one bush I had in the flower room. I grew one last summer outside. She turned into a 12' monster that yeilded around 2 1/2 lb's of decent 'Sungrown' weed. The inside grown was a better med. Last year We had one of the coldest wettest years I 'think' on record. But She made it.

View attachment 1983419This one here,,,,, well right now shes a staple in my gardens. Called 'Vantage' fromCH9 Female Seeds . I love this plant. Shes fast and she packs a punch. I've flipped rooms in 45 days with her. 49 total couch lock. And she has the rock hardest buds. I'll keep her in my grows till something else knocks her out.

View attachment 1983486These next are alittle experiment. The Name is 'Cripit' from Stony Girl Gardens. A combo of Cripple Rino and Pitt Bull, Shes a local grower to the state of Oregon. http://www.gro4me.com/cripit1.htm They have gentics that claim a 28 day flower. This plant Is a 35 day. I have to see to believe.

Thanks for commenting. Dam Spell check still don't work and I'm a lame speller. Oh well I know what I mean anyways. Ok now I have some clones going to go in this grow also. It's that Vantage you will hear alot about in my grows. Fast -7 week flowerer. I love the 'stone'. Sounds like a gong. Here's a clone;and these are all 5 of the little girls.
I also have a Yumbolt-47 going in here; Along with a Swiss Cheese. Which I'll upate in awhile.
I'm hoping the flower room will give me the room for these in acouple weeks' This is what the room looks like now;
I have 2 V's going in there and a Star TrekHere's the V at 30 days; and this is Star Trek, it's a clone only from up here. I've grown her out afew times but I need a change of pace so she's going in the waste. I 'might' be able to get ahold of the genetics again If I need;
Bummer I lost that Tangerine Dream plant. She turned male. It was a fem seed from Barneys. I know that plant won the Cannabis Cup this year. I grew one outside. I knew it didn't really have a chance to grow out up here in Oregon, but I tried and ended up with some Powdery Mildew for my efforts. Well not much else to write from here today. I do have 3 Berkley Blue seeds cracked and above ground. It's a Stoney Girl seed. This is suppose to be one for my outside grow this year.
With my grows they go from inside with soil to inside with hydro. I also grow 'Sun Grown' herbs. I like to have afew tree's out back come fall. Outside I have a Green House and I have afew half barrles laying around for pots to lay around the back yard. I try to grow shade trees to have over the pool. I'll take ya'll on my outside grows also as soon as weather permits.

Well you will see alot of this plant here. Vantage. I really like this plant. It's easy to grow,clone,and flower. It will surive under lower lite, but ofcourse does best under alot of lite. under 7 weeks to flower for a stoney ass herb? I'll growen all day long. Well here's a peek;

Also here's a shot of the Star Trek I have. She's being phased out. To many other strains to try. And I have 16 strains coming from Attitude. I think I did great for 50$

I also have a Yumbolt-47. She needed to be super cropped alittle. I have clones going from her. Her clones and Swiss Cheese clones rooted in 8 days. I just used root riot plugs in a dome under a t-5 light. I use Vita-Grow. Like they say you can root a popcyle stick with it. Well enough for now. Very nice! I like the indoor/outdoor weather permitting and the soil/soilless/hydro/whatever aspect you have. I do much the same but on a much smaller scale. Everything looks great, continued success to you, and welcome to RIU.

Hey Tunes been awhile since we been able to say hello on a Grow Site. I'm glad to hear your mites are under control. Now you can start your new grow miteless I hope. Stay down with your bad ass. GL I'll talk laters.
And Ledhed welcome to my nightmare. I am very lucky I have a great place to grow, inside and out. Inside in that flower room are 2 1000 watters on rails. I perfer the magnetic ballats, they are alot softer on the bulbs. From what I hear the electical ballasts burn out non digital bulbs alot faster than should be. Also have acouple Magnum 6" air cooled hooded. Air is from a passive intake drawing cool air from under the house. Also have a dehumiditfier running in there. Temps max at 80 and a min of around 65 degrees during their 'nite' time. Which is my day time. Cooler nightime temps help keep it cool. Thanks for stopping in everyone. Keepem Green

Just a fast update. Temp's are dropping and slowing plants veg time some. I'm kindof glad I've hit a bottle neck in the flower room. Should have 3 coming out within 2 weeks. Here's acouple pic's I took last nite;

Well alittle more breathing room. We, Miss J and I, well should I say really Miss J just trimed out that Star Trek. She wasn't the prettiest plant in the bunch, she was lanky and had to be super ctopped atime or two, but the buds are tight and fruity smelling. She's looking like a fair yeild, I figgure 5+ Oz's. Out of the last Lb of her I did find afew seed. Big suckers for sure. Well this is a peek she went like 49 days;
Cripit's are sure loving her spot. I knew they wood stand tall once they got out the garage. And they are looking great. I have two Vantages going in there last few days of flower. The Indo pheno finishes faster by a week I'd say. Here's a bud that was growing on the interior of the plant. One of them that doesn't get much light. She's soild for sure. This is at 42 days.

Weather went south outside. Abit warmer, but snow. Makes it look funny to be scouting my spots for next spring. I haven't grown on this site before but the back yard is a potheads dream most of the summer and fall. I plan on filling this room here up. It's a place refered to as "Wood's Doghouse'. Sorry it's not a clear pic, but they will get better once something is growing out back But here's my home away from home in the Fall'.
Well I'm waiting for my new seed stock to show up. Really tho I still have alot of untried strains laying around in the office. That's one thing I love about growing now as compaired to 20 years ago. If you didn't have seed stock you were more or less at the mercy of what friends 'claimed' the weed was. I lost count of how many millions of seeds I use to have to look thru to find some good tiger stripers. I really don't have alot of faith in a name, it's either bad weed, good weed, or better weed. They all do have different traits, but all in all they still are a weed.

Hey Tunes, Yea she was a pretty bush. Has nice color and smell. I got this black film container from looks like WWll airforce. It can hold a Lb of packed herbs. So 9 oz's fills it up great for curing larger amounts togather. Well I was wondering around the flower room last night so I took afew pic's to kind of show atad more of my grows



That Vantage I have is working on day 47. She's ready now but acouple more couldn't hurt. She has cloudy cystals with just atad of amber peeking out. Here's Vantage-I;



Also have the one I call Vantage-S. She's the taller and lanky. She's about a week behind her sister. Clear/Cloudy 80/20% Also she's fixxing to get her flushing regiment. And here's V-S;



Allrite, next I have a sweet looking little taste treat. Least I hope. She's a Sour Cream from DNA genetics i think ? I know shes suppose to be a 10 weeker for the finish. But here she is at day 47 along with the Vantage and she's starting to look real sweet. If it takes 3 more weeks this bud will probly bust open. It's one solid ass plant. Not a yielder unless she starts to pack it on in the final weeks. Well here she is;



I also have another in there. Her name is Swiss Cheese. Nice heathy stout plant. big branches/big buddage. And I can see this plant will be able to support some hella buds;

Started cleaning up the Vantage-s plant, and you talk about frosting on sun leaves. These got loaded. I ended up taking the first Vantage down the morning of the 48th day. And the Vantage-s on 50. Well I give my plants 24 hours darkness before harvesting. Hey all the plants oils and smells are strongest in the morning hours. You can always see the oils dripping off the outdoor plants in the morning. Well here's that little frosting I was talking about;


I've seen this afew other times. I seen one with 4-5 flowers growing out of the leaf. Really strange is two sprouts out of one seed. Well back to the trimming. Keepem Green

Hey Tunes you remember this pic? I grow this little pure AK out back acouple years ago. By harvest she was a neon purple plant with some pretty greens mixed in. But this little AK was looking like that flick,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Little Shop of Horrors Remember. Well ya'll call it;

Now that was a wierd one. Turns out a scrany little Morning Glory snuck up the main stem without me seeing it. Freaked me abit. I was walking around brain dead and I was like WTF. Took me 10 minutes to see what it really was Keepem Green

Hey here's a great idea for all the hash mash growers out there,

Works for me. Kind of easier than having to back track your journals for dates ect.
Well Cripits are starting to grow hair. Here's a pic of the one I call Cripit-3 she got a sure jumped out there during the transition time to flower. Not a trait I really want to much of. But it is mangable. I didn't use any Bush Master's on these. I did on the new ones I put in tonite. But anyways here she is Miss Cripit-3;;;;;;

And here's here sisters Cripit 2-3 the ones that stayed shorter.
Ok here's afew new ones to the flower room. First is the old stand by, White Widow. I've had afew good crops of W-W. I just hope these genetics are solid. So many different breeders out there with it hard to figgure whose is what. Well all these plants have been cloned the nite I puttem in flower incase I found the one. Ok here she is W-W ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

And another there is alot of strain out there. Probley the #1 in the world. Skunk. I opted for Sensie Seed's. I hear they did wonders with keeping some of the 'Old School' with her. Well she looks like shes going to have that Sativa pheno. Knock on wood it stays shorter with that BushMaster's on it. We'll just have to see;;;;;;;;;

Ok here's one bushy pretty plant. Her name is Smile. I can see a monster 'Bubble' plant in her. She's wide around as tall. Real 'soft' leaves. This one I don't see this one getting outta hand in the height department. Shes from Kannia ? Seeds. Plant sounded intresting for a freebie;;;;;;

Well Sour Cream is fattening up. The plant has such a high rate of calys's to leaf ratio. 'Wish I had Spell Check mine not working on here and thats something I really need.' Man shes getting pretty. I'm waiting on a sample bud I took 2 days ago. Buds are so solid they are going to take 4-5 days to dry smokeable. Her running peak of clear on the cystals with acouple cloudy. I'm going to let her run her course. But shes sure pretty while she's growing. Strong plant not any problems. Real pleasing on the eys;;;;;;;;;

Ok if anyone wants to know, this here is the Cripit flowering. It went in on the 15th and is suppose to be a 35 day finisher. Like I said I will be more than happy with a 45 day flower IF the weed's any good. Well just for a fast update here she is Miss Cripit;;;;

She really has some strong branches. To me and most I've seen, heavy branches mean heavy buddage. The way shes growing, looks like shes going some monster buds. Just to give ya a idea what I mean look at this one here's the Branch structure on the Cripit;;;;;

Ok here's some of the clones I took. First off the Indo looking plants, '2 out of 3 were Indo looking. Their clones took off. While the more Sativa looking of the bunch didn't root as well. Here's wha I save for future plants, 'IF' ;;;;;;;;;;;

I top all my plants. People say I do it alittle early in their lifes but I like tight small bushes myself. And topping helps keepem short and wide. I 'have' topped after the first leaves show. I'm not talking about true leaves either. Some plants I top right after the single leave grows. These are on the second leaves. Man they have some large ass leaves;;;;
