If your room isn't 100% light tight in the dark, some genetics will hermie. I had the tinniest bit of light through the door caused one of my MAC's to hermie. The other's weren't bothered by it. Just one plant. I had a couple random seeds all over my grow but it wasn't too bad. I caught it early. I had another plant do it that I grew from seed so genetic's does play into it.
