Hermie Qs?

One of my friends plants has hairs but some pods with no hairs.

Hes about 2 weeks into flowing and this particular strain is a little behind the others. There are hairs but also some areas where the is a pod (just one) with no hairs coming out. Could this be a calyx?

The other hermie that he had was pretty obvious. There were hairs and then areas with a bunch of pods.

Whats throwing us off with this plant is that where there is a pod there is only one.

Also, how long does it take before a male pod will split and releas pollen?

Thanks

Bump with pics. Two of the pics show the hairs, the other two show the pods that dont have hairs coming out. Are they immature calyxes or male parts?

thankfully this is just from one of his plants. There are 4 more that are female. Unfortunatly this is the only one of this strain that he planted that we thought was female.

simply weigh the pros and cons..
is that plant worth keeping?.. if its a crappy plant, kill it.. if it only has a few pods, u can cut em off and the plant will still flower like a female
BUT.. if you miss a pod and it explodes its juices everywhere.. u be fucked.. one male pollen sac can yield some seedy weed...

if you second guess yourself, do the safe thing, get rid of it... it'll make more space for the real females

kill it , it may infect your grow after 2 to 3 weeks flower, it not worth the hassle.

This is a real tough decision. He killed the original plant that this post was referring too.. If he kills this one we are down to 3 females (we started with 12 plants).

And this is a great plant. Its the only one the he topped and its starting to show LOTS of bud sites. There is only 2 pollen sacs that he can find. He already cut them off, but killing the whole thing is going to be tough.

Here are some pictures of the plant I'm talking about now.

Any other input appreciated.

yeah im in the same situation as you. I have 5 plants showing those exact chareteristics. its like the pic 4 pic set you took in post 2 came from my garden. But the sad news is, ive already klled 6 males, and most likely the 5 showing hermie will die tonight if no hair comes out of ball. but then again. this is why I planted 32 seeds. I didnt want to go back and wait 30 days for a few more females to fill the room. Worst case if I have extra fems, Ill reveg em and put them in a box with a cfl or something.

kill all hermies..its not worth it. you cant keep cutting polen sacs cus there will be many and many of them. you wont get that much bud. cut it down.
