or early pollination? my area is known to have wild ruderalis growing.

If it's a hermie it appears to be the only spot on the plant as far as I can tell. What are my options?

In the mean time your options are these. First off, pull it off and watch the plant (as if you wont be lol)
So then theres a couple types of herm. One is the pods that pop from tops or sides maturing buds with male parts, another is pods that pop every fucking where on one or a couple branches. Single pops arent that bad, huge stringer branches full can make the buds pretty seedy and gross though.
Another type of herm is the light leak or pollenation herm. Usually seen in the form of bananas. These stress or impregnation signifying male parts can be pulled off but chances are in either type of herm that you are going to have seeds.
So these are your options. Kill the plants and all your work, or let it run. A perpetual harvest with the herming genetics could be now impossible if theres ment to be a constant flower rotation because of constant pollen in the air.
If you dont want to lose all your work....since the seeded bud still has the same thc content, then leave it. If a branch totally goes to pods, cut them off, if it gets too bad kill the plant. If its just a couple here and there then pull em off and run the bitches. You may want to harvest five days early if your tester buds tell you its ripe, just to keep some of these seeds from developing fully. Usually 50-55 days on newer strains. You should be able to see the seeds mostly and be able to pull them out as they form, or see them while you trim and pull them out then. And if you dont see them in those two steps, youll see them while you manicure dry buds and dropping them into jars or bags. Worst case scenario you end jp blasting the product but still make something off of it even though its not what it could be. Pay for cost at least, better than pay for nothing. It is what it is, fuck seeds they dont scare me.

Not sure what you mean by that
Its called switch. Its sixty bucks a gallon and a gallon will cover about 600 square feet. It stops herming. I think you spray at 7 days and 14 days of flower. Two applications so 600 square feet will take two gallons. 120 bucks. Ive seen it stop an already two branch full out pod festing plant from popping any more after trimming the couple branches off and spraying switch. Its worth the money if theres more than just a couple plants involved.

no way I'm cullin that shit, boy lol

That was really helpful. Thanks. I'll watch it closely and see if I can pull it off within the next few days. If not then I'm slicing the branch which happens to be one of the very tops. if it's just been pollinated by random pollen then I'm fine with that.
