Hermied plants late in flower

I have 4 plants that are 3 days from week 8 of flowering (planned on taking them out in like 4 days from the day of this post) so my questions are as follows

1. Last saturday i gave them nutes (fox farm cha ching) would it be safe to harvest as soon as tomorrow? I gave them water today when i was looking over the buds i seen a few banana's. This is the only other time i have watered them since the nutes
2. How long does it take for these things to typically pollinate the room? I have 3 other plants in the room that do not show any signs of being herm but i'm worried if i wait to long to take my plants out they will go herm as well.
3. Does them turning herm (or making nanners late in flower whichever it is) affect the overall quality of the bud? I had plan on this batch tested but i'm having second thoughts

Any help is very much appreciated

1, you should be fine. 2, Herming isnt a disease. It won't spread. A herm will pollinate other plants and produce seeds, but a hermied plant won't cause your other plants to herm. Depending on strain seeds take 3-6 weeks to mature. The better your airflow, the easier pollen spreads. 3, I personally can not say if it makes a difference in a lab, but I have never noticed a difference in quality between hermied and non hermied buds. Hopecthat helped a bit.

but the herm won't cause my 3 other plants to become herm? Thanks a ton for the input i really appreciate it i've been growing for a long time and have 0 experience dealing with this sort of thing

pluck the nanners off the hermied plant before they open. should keep you from pollenating the rest.
Only if it herms with a whole male flower. If its just the single nanner, they come out shooting.

Dude, I ran into my first one six months ago. I googled "how did i get seeds from all females", tada. Lol. Now if you are running clones, expect each clone to herm around the same time if the environment is stable. That's how some people started believing its spreadable. My buddy has a plant that herms 55 days. Everytime.

ok sweet this is just a strain i got from a friend so i probably won't grow it again

should i wait to water again so that i have a longer period of time since i gave nutes or just cut them down in a few days? i'm just worried the smoke will turn out bad since i gave them nutes last saturday (although not much just 1/4 tsp/gal cha ching)

thanks a ton for the help

If your at 8 weeks of flower and you have nanners put them out of your mind completely unless your running perpetual. They wont hurt anything. Just flower them normally. And you wont wreck anything by adding cha ching. Do you think that if you added cha ching to a tomato plant before you picked it that it would taste bad?

i have no idea i'm just trying to get feedback, you think it would be safe to harvest as soon as tomorrow? I also do run a perpetual so if i could safely get them out of my room i would asap

If you were going to take them in four days, yes, taking them now would be fine. Water deactivates pollen just so ya know. Also get something to check the tricombs and and get familiar with it.

I usually do check the tricomes, i just wait at least 2 weeks after giving any nutes before harvest but with the naners was wanting to know if taking them out earlier would harm the smoke (harsh or bad tasting)

Hmmm, so you figure that not feeding a plant is the best way to make it taste good and ripen? Good thing they dont do that in the agricultural industry huh?

I was just under the impression if i cut them down early after not waiting long enough after giving nutes i would ruin the smoke
