Hey guys I'm about 2 weeks in flower and noticed 2 of my plants that were right next to each other have hermed I found a couple sites with the hairs and balls,I removed them from the tent immediately is there a good chance the rest of the tent will get hit?had it had enough time for the pollen sacs to pop and go everywhere or?

And if so should I just toss my whole 4x4 then? I mean if in only In week 2 of flower there won't be much buds just alot of probable hermied seeds

Does the pollen come from the buds or is it the balls on the stock that open here's some pics

Check for light leaks. Many blame the strain but many times light leaks (and of course stressing) cause hermi situations.
Turn off all lights in the bloom area and stand in there for a few minutes and look around.
Particularly in the area of those 2 plants.. Fans, all controllers, blacked out windows, plug strip on/off lights, and others are lighted somehow and are
overlooked easily.. must be total dark.. let your eyes adjust in there..

From those pics they didn't open.
But it looks like they will be trouble.
Occasionally you'll see rogue male sacs and in that case you can watch and wait and pinch.
But this looks more like a true hermie.
Was it bagseed?

Don't trip on light leaks please.
Little power lights in your tent don't cause hermies.
If you got these seeds from a breeder, I'd contact them and ask for a new set and would try something different.

If it was bagseed, well, that's the risk. A lot of bagseed are hermies.

Ran into few males running GPS Tomahawk but it was from a reg mix. Currently running Full Moon Fever ( Durban Poison x Stardawg ) so we shall see.

Last herm I got was probably from my heavy handed defol and training as it was only one out of 6 plants ( same strain ). Not GPS .

Who wants to spend hundreds on packs that are hermies I think I'll just go back to autos honestly I pulled 3 ounces about of a fastbuds purple lemonade in about 2 n half 3 months it was dwc so if I could stick 4 or 5 in my 4x4 that would be say even 10 ounces every 2 months if you time it right that's more then enough smoke for me

I was a big supporter of greenpoint untill i started running thier fem s .To date i've run 5 of their fem varieties and every one of them has hermies. Not every plant but the majority of them have for me. I've run purple punch/purple larry/gmo punch/rum runner/ and purple crunch and a few i can't remember. It appears to me that they either are not testing the. crosses or just don't give a damn. Ihave also run a bunch of there regular seeds/Tomahawk/doc holiday/raindance/skymaster/california cannon plus a bunch more and did not have the problems like with thier fems. So from my point of veiw something changed when they started making fems. Anyways thought I would add my 2 cents for what it is worth. PS I will still grow the GPS regs. becuase the are good and cheap. but not the fems.
