Hi there my fellow gardenersI have this problem with Critical strainsdid two runs of Critical+2.0/Dinafem 16 girls each time....half of em hermied on me both runscurrently I'm having Peyote Critical/Barneys Farm.....22 girls....and again I'm pissed of bc most of em hermied...not as much sacks as it was on Critical+2.0/Dinafem....but still....few things about the environment....plants are kept healthy throughout the grow....I'll drop some pictures....Dimlux Expert Series 1200w....temperature is on point....max 27 daytime....21-22 at night....using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow&Bloom....B-52....Voodoo Juice....Big Bud....Overdrive.....all I can think is genetic traits bc I used have many other strains and did exactly the same things I do with Criticals.....couple of fan leaves during early veg....transplanting on week 3 of veg....then heavier defoliation on the first day of flowering and plus LST....backing up my lights from 1000w to 900 for a couple of days when it's done....then heavy defoliation again on the first day of week 4 of flowering....and I do this with Dr. KIPPLING genetics....Barneys Farm Strawberry Lemonade....Royal Gorilla/Royal Queen Seeds....and many others....no problems at all....

I’ve ran dinafem gear since around 2012 with one of my all time favourites being CRITICAL+.

I have yet to see this strain turn full blown hermie but they will throw out Nannas if you’re too brutal with defol or if you push too many nutrients through them.

critical+ Is a basic bitch. Keep her leaves healthy and she rewards you with golf ball nugs all the way down.

although she’s never ready in 55 days as quoted by dinafem. More like 75-85.

when you take her this deep she can throw out bananas. BUT. Bananas aren’t too bad and they certainly don’t mean hermie.

that late into flower she’s not gonna seed herself to be worth a damn anyway!

My girls hermied on week 3 of flowering....never got too much nutrients bc even tips of leafs looking healthy....uptake is good and I have a video with runoff...pH 5.9...ppm 1400....but yeah I think they don't like heavy defoliation and probably LST...each plant is tied down with 8 hooks made out of wire....

1400ppm?

what medium?

What calibration for PPM? .5 or .7?

.7 would be EC2.0
.5 would be nearer EC3.0

that’s very strong nutrient mixing!!

In coco I rarely exceed 1.2-1.4EC feeding every day.

Ya

Seems fishy to me

Did u contact the breeders/seedbanks
I haven't contacted anyone....the fact is that I didn't took photos of them hermies...Dinafem was under some sort of investigation last year when Critical+2.0 got hermies in my garden....but I'm gonna look into BarneysFarm definitely....I'll wait and see how many plants got pollinated....and then I will have a wee bit of evidence to show them

Medium is Canna Terra Professional Plus+....1400ppm isn't that bad....some people are feeding 1600ppm...1200ppm is what Advanced Nutrients are suggesting in flowering stage....plus I feed plain water every third day
