so i posted almost a couple of weeks ago, worried about the colour and general state of my leaves during the 5th week of flower. I received some good advice and concluded that i was being slightly hypocondriac. i was told its pretty normal for leaves to pale up around this stage of growth and die off on occasion. so with a fresh breath of confidence iv been feeding as normal, trying to ignore the leaves dying all around me. the buds are really stacking, and absolutely stinking. a reassuring smell after all the problems iv had, i must admit. i'm doing this completely on my own, and it is my first grow. so i guess i'd just like some feedback.
iv got maybe 3 weeks until i start preparing for harvest. i fear that ill have no leaves left by then, that cant be normal. (see pics)

the leaves that are discolouring and dying i created a rationale that the plant has just used them up, they've done their job kinda thing, is this so? they are browning/crisping around the end or the edges, i cant tell anymore whether this is
the used up leaves or some kind of definciy. i have created more problems in the past by trying to treat a wrong diagnosis, so i have been hesitant to 'treat anything' there strong plants and seem to sort themselves out with a little bit of help, is this persisting discolouration something i need to deal with now?

any ideas on yield would be great too, i know its almost impossible to estimate right now but any figure would help me right now, like i said first timer... there uk cheese strain, two plants, both really bushy compared to anything iv seen, they have seen 'LST' techniques and i believe they were topped before i got them at about 5 weeks from seed... there seems to be similar size colas to the tops right around the low branches, even some of the lower branches are being propped up and tied at the moment as they're getting decently weighty.

im growing in soil, under a 600hps. using 'canna terra flores' and 'biobizz top max' at the mo, would it be beneficial to use the topmax right up until last few days and flush with something to rid of excess in the soil? or is the general consensus to just use water the last two weeks. any other advice on preparing for harvest. i plan on doing a 72 hour dark cycle come harvest time, reading comments on here about it has me pretty much convinced.

id also like to add that I learn everything i know from here, bad and good, its taken a surprisingly short time for me to build up a bullshit filter when surfing this page. so props to the genuinely helpful members here. this is the only place i can get some advice so thanks in advance.

just using whatever nutes i mentioned before, no supplements. ''terra flores and biobizz topmax''... are you suggesting a nitrogen deficiency?

I've been worried about leaf loss in the past aswell, but I think some strains are just going to drop them regardless of how well you treat your plants. Some bud when it's mature will also take on an amber sort of tint, as long as the bud itself stays greenish then I wouldnt worry too much. You will remove the leaf anyhoo. The loss of leaf mass might lower the yeild a bit but it isnt going to ruin the bud imo.

You want to fully flush the last 1-2weeks with nothing but water, some use molasses aswell or flushing agents. Its annoying to have to do but it is important if you want the best results. I swear the last plant I didnt flush was smoked by another grower. He took one puff, turned around to me - then gave me a big lecture on flushing hehe.

its normal in some strains, i have had a similar response... ''these are leaves that have been used up'' etc and then i managed to convince myself that the turning leaves were leaves causing shade to other bud spots and generally leaves that maybe should of been pruned earlier on in the grow, so maybe the plants helpin herself out abit... but then more and more leaves started turning, younger leaves, older fan leaves everything, almost randomly, so you may understand my concern.
the buds look great, frosty, green, some turning very light amber and really smelling good. just everywhere else worries me. like you say it will affect my yield. i don't want to be sitting around next to them doing nothing if there is something i can be doing to help them. i have noticed curling upwards at the end of alot of leaves aswell this is the pale, dying leaves aswell as healthier looking ones.

cheers on the flushing advice, i will do that. i want the best quality buds i can produce. the stuff on the streets makes me angry these days. are we talking one flush and then just water up to harvest day, or a series of flushes over the last 1-2 weeks?

no-one else had issues, with leaves turning and/or dropping towards the end of flowering?
