hey guys second time attempting a small dwc set up,
just some thought on how yous think im doing,and what i should and shouldnt be doing etc?

how toand what leaves to trim.prune.what leaves should be cut first and stuff like that
i have noticed the new growing leaves from the parts i have topped,have some discoloration!
not sure why! :(

also have 4 plants in this small tub,
Im not sure if it is big enough either,as
i have lost few plants trying this setup!

they are about 3 to 4 weeks old from seed!

Your set up is way too small for four plants but looks just great for one! Not sure that's why you lost plants but eventually the crowding will cause some problem weather it be bugs or mold or something else that will kill them. One good plant will easily out produce several struggling ones. easier to take care of also particularly because you won't experience a lot of problems that you will with crowded plants

i would do just what you did which is to start four plants and then cull two or three out, keeping the best one or two and continue the grow. That will give you your best chance of success. Plants look good at the moment from here anyhow

trimming the plant really depends on you light your using to flower. The main reason people trim at all is so energy is not wasted producing the small buds on the bottom of the plant where light dont penetrate very good. Some people cut off the bottom 1/3 of the plant and some only trim a few upper fan leafs that shade out lower growth. I would suggest leaving all the fan leaves and only pinching off the small bud sites under the canopy. This lets you have the benefit of the fan leaves acting as a nute buffer and still help produce fruit/roots.
