Hey guys. New here and just a lil introduction of myself

Hey guys, like the title says I would just like to introduce myself. I'm ZoZo. There now that thats done i'd like to say this seems like a great board with some very knowledgable people posting. I must admit, I'm very excited to join. I've already read through Widow Makers "How-to Guide" and a lot of the FAQ and i've decided I would like to start growing. however, I will be moving in the near future to a more permenate residence so things can get a little more serious. As for now, I'd like to just grow with a basic soil set up in closet. I'd like to start growing now just to get a feel of how to deal with taking care of plants. Then when I move, i can invest a little more money and get a nice set up going(if your gonna do something, might as well do it right ) That being said, I have a couple questions for you guys:

a) I've been looking at the nirvana shop (as recommended by this site) and would like to know your guys' suggestions on what strain would be best for me to start? I was thinking of SnowWhite.

b) Is it worth getting a 10 pack of seeds or if i should get the five pack if I'm just using a walk-in closet using soil? Would a closet give ten plants enough space?

I'm looking forward to learning a lot from what this board has to offer and hopefully soon enough I will be able to contribute just as much.

Hello and welcome! You're going to love your new hobby And it sounds like you're taking it seriously so you should do well. It's not hard, you just need a good understanding of the basics. The rest, you will learn as you grow.

Nirvana's Snow White was what I went with for my first grow. Link to my full journal in my sig. I thought they were beautiful plants, vigorous, easy to grow, quick to flower. And some lovely smoke at the end of it all. What more could you want with a first grow? Or any grow!

As you will see in my journal. They get kinda bushy. So I reckon 4 max in a closet. But start off 5. Good luck

Id recomend just getting the 10 pack because granted its a small closet but u gotta keep in mind, how many females are u gonna get out of those 10, ive seen people plant 5 and get 4 males so by ratio thatd be 2 females to your 10 seeds....id get the 10.

Welcome ..I'd get a ten pack , start with 4 or 5 and have 5 or so put away for the next grow OR if you have problems with your 1st grow ..Have fun ..

Well, from what i can tell, on the nirvana site it says that you can buy a ten pack of seeds that are 100% feminized. I'm assuming that means they're all gaunteed to be females. of course i could be wrong. lol

Thanks! That's what i'll probably end up doing. Whats the "shelf life" of a seed. is there any specific environment i should keep them in if im not going to grow them right away?

i started my babies from baggie seeds that went back as far as three years! they all germinated. They are into their 7th day of flowering with only 3 males so far. so they all worked...
