That whole era... I think by early 1990 it wasn't as prevelent. But my older cousins got me into it. I wasnt hardcore , but I had a GT frame and all interchable gear. My cousin always helped me. Then we got older , my bikes got stolen and that was that.Used to love this movie, because I actually went through a hardcore BMX stage back in the 80's (I rode a custom built P.K Ripper).

My best friend growing up rode a GT. Still remember it had a sticker on it that said "GT #1 bicycle Nora Cup 1982”. And please don't ask me why I remember that, lol.

I had a Forest Gump pos when I was a kid , I think Buick made it cause the thing weighed about 80 lbs , I threw that bitch down a cliff trying to break it & it didn't work ,then I had to haul that heavy bastard back up .
Then me & my older brother got a Schwinn Tandem bike & liked to killed ourselves on that bitch , it looked like this beast .
Two guys can get a Tandem up to about 40 mph downhill , we did & had a horrible crash .

Lol I saw dad with his kid on one of those. He took off and the poor kid wasn't ready. Shit got ugly fast... Kid was dangling , dad was yelling.
One of those moments I wish I had a go pro because I saw it coming from a mile away. I was thinking "watch this fool about mess up" Felt bad for the kid but the dad looked like once of those stuck up prude pricks.

Oh shit, I remember CW Racing with the lightening bolt in the frame. I never saw one in person, but I used to have subscriptions to both BMX Action and BMX Plus do I got to drool over the pictures. Sweet ride!
