Yes it is, healthy robust seeds make healthy robust plants. Is it wrong to nurture a seed,,,,,no, and in fact most runts are more potent IME, but the considerations for breeding override this IMO. Not one seed I have gifted has ever failed to germ and grow
You are looking for more long viability, correct? What about generations; meaning I hear breeders talk about stabilizing the line of genetics. How do you decide when your plant line is where you want it and ready to be introduced to the world?

When popping how ever many seeds results in less than 3 various pheno types

LMAO! I would have been happy with an example of vegetables. lol. I am guilty of that with most subjects though ... I mean I am an Electrical Engineer, who, when in high school thought that learning imaginary numbers was stupid ... i mean really who uses imaginary numbers ... Oh if I only knew ... Lol

Lol yeah school is overrated :P Way I see it is everyone is learning the same shit there so you aren't really getting an "advantage" so to speak...once you got the basics down you can educate yourself with the unlimited resources out there and from other people who have real world experience. TBH I all but stopped going to school in the 7th grade...went back n got my GED the same year my class graduated for some reason. Started college but ended up getting a job in the field I was pursuing before I finished, so I just said fuck it n started working. It's good for some, but not necessary for all.

In my algebra 2 class we had a kid ask if we would ever use this stuff and the teacher asked what he wanted to do and he said he wanted to be an engineer. The teacher actually laughed (along with the rest of the class).

Yeah I quit after 8th grade and got my GED, I wanted to take high school in one year and they wouldn't let me, it was them that tested me and said I had a 169 IQ so I didn't understand why they wouldn't let me do it, I had taken all my high school math during 8th grade to prove I could do it, My Math teacher helped with that

Looking back ... It is incredible the influence school teachers/administrators have had on people.

if two electronic devices use the same amount of power this does not mean they produce the same amount of heat
it only means they use the same amount of power (wattage) ?

No, I meant what I said, wattage translates into heat, I've been an electronics tech for 40 years, there is even a formula to calculate it. Oh and I had 800 watts prior (2 X 400 HID's) my temps stayed the same. The flouros spread it out a bit but it's still 1000 watts of heat

overall heat from an electrical device is also dependent on what the device is

1000w of power consumed by any type of light is not 1000w of heat
heat is not part of ohms law it is a byproduct of (R)

a MH produces a huge amount of heat because of the way MH generates light
the center of the bulb is very hot

sodium produces less heat because the center of the sodium tube is not as hot as the MH


this example should clarify beyond doubt

does a 3kw (3000watt electric fire



produce the same amount of heat as a

3kw (3000w) air conditioner



they both consume the same amount of power
you seem to be suggesting they would produce the same overall amount of heat since they are both 3kw

put a 3kw fire in a room a 3kw air conditonr in another room, both rooms will be the same temp ?

the answer is yes, the 3K heater will make as much heat as the 3K air conditioner, The difference is the Air conditioner will expel it outside via the evaporator coil.

I really don't want to argue this, but you left me no choice but the standard measurement of HEAT transferred is the WATT !!! here is a dictionary definition for you

"As a form of energy heat has the unit joule (J) in the International System of Units (SI). However, in many applied fields in engineering the British thermal unit (BTU) and the calorie are often used. The standard unit for the rate of heat transferred is the watt (W), defined as joules per second."

you wanna cite Ohms law when you should be using Watts law !!!

Those that know me, know I don't just say shit, if I don't know something I say so !!!
