Hey should I be ph adjusting my water?

Watering from the hose without feeding is fine except for the Chlorine and Bromamine (City water). If one is feeding with synthetics you should at least PH your nutrient solution for better uptake. Yes the raw tap water waters your grass and bushes fine and keeps them green but you are trying to maximize your grow, just not get by. My question would be can you even grow organically outdoors with city tap water. Indoors is ok because a RO machine or letting a couple of buckets evaporate out the chlorine works when you don't need a lot of water. I live where it's hot and might be using a 100 gal a day in the extreme heat. I would need a water silo to store water and Evap chlorine. Don't know what to do about the Bromamine. I got a inline RV water filter and are going to try pure organics this year with amended soil, top dressing with guanos and feeding teas. If it doesn't work back to the synthetics we go. I have yet to test PPM's and PH coming out of the filter.

alright so i just looked it up and foxfarm OF is already ph adjusted to 6.3-6.8 . so will that mean when water runs through the soil it will auto adjust?

To an extent. You can't go pouring in a synthetic solution of - 5.5 or 6.8 + and expect everything is ok or the plant is taking up maximum nutrients. Once again PH buffers (lime) are to aid in organic soil. Not synthetic feedings.

why do u say to ph organic soil?............whats it gonna do? why?
after 17 yrs of witnessing so many ph issues i just do it. wells and city water can range so much. 4-10 depending and it simply doesnt grow as nice of plants when out of range. it can be done many times but why? i am not lazy

Phing just for hydro?? Hecks naw. Just try to water your ladies with 8.5 tap water all the time.... Youll end up locking shyt out... Rule of thumb: ph even when foliar feeding

use lime in the soil and dont worry about ph. I did what you were doing for a year and then the last 2 years I used a 20-20-20 fert and just added lime to balance out the ph of the peat moss based soilless mix i was using. So dont worry about it if your on city water just make sure you leave your water out over night so the shit thats in it is gone in the morning. Good luck
