Hi everyone!
This is my first post here, although I've eaves-dropped a few threads for info in the past
First off I'd just like to make anyone reading aware that I am posting from a BLACKBERRY, and as such have limited control over how my posts will look. It took me nearly an hour just to setup the account! :O
Ok, so let's get to the stuff that people need to know.
I currently have an extremely small & stealthy closet grow, comprising:-
Grow space: 38" wide, 42" high, 18" deep. (These are internal measurements)
Fully light, sound and smell proofed. (With great difficulty as I'm sure many of you have experienced!)
Light: 600w HPS, 250w red spectrum envirolight/cfl
Ventilation: 187m3/h exhaust with temp and speed controls built in,
Connected to 5" cooltube, housing 600w's of hps goodness vented directly outside
Active carbon filter
2 squirrel fans I borrowed out of an old-school fridge
4" extractor fan, intake.
3 4" passive intake holes
Fully mylar'd inside
Plant details:-
Currently DNA genetics RockLock,
Sitting happily in a home-made DWC unit made of an old fish tank (wrapped in mylar of course),
A 10/L a minute air pump, connected to a 4" circle airstone directly under the root mass
LST trained from about 2 weeks old using tie-downs and bendZ trainers.
Nutes:
canna aqua veg A+B
Canna aqua flores A+B (very clean nutes, I'm 5 weeks in and haven't needed to change rez! Ph is stable, never fluctuating more then O.2ph, and a pretty steady EC)
Canna rhizotonic
Plant magic bloom boost
Biobizz leaf coat (I actually recommend this, runs out fast but definitely gives a noticeable foliar boost!)
Dutch master replicator rooting gel
And obviously all the other little bits and bobs eg. Meters etc
So basically I'm 5 weeks in from fem seed, smelling very strong already!
I've managed to keep her about 6-8 inches off the top of the rez, growing horizontally of course.
She's very dense & bushy and isn't picky about nute strength, ph, temp etc, but I have noticed that she does prefer 5.8 ph.
My temps have got as high as 40 degrees centigrade, and she didn't burn up at all! Neither was she stunted.
I've trained the largest fan leaves to grow on one side of the stem, allowing all the new growth to be trained to the other side, and achieve maximum light. This method seems to be working extremely well for me, considering how confined my grow space is, as the large fan leaves are not shading new growth.
I would like to upload some pic's, but I'm working from a blackberry as previously stated so everything is a lot more complicated and difficult lol
So that's my setup!
Ideas, suggestions, and feed back all very much welcomed.
Also if you have grown RockLock in a DWC environment similar to mine, please post up what she yield'ed
(please don't bash me with the old 'there's to many variables' stick, I just want to know what's been had off this plant before )

P.s just curious as to the security of these type of forums? How is it you guys are posting full on grow journals, pictures and everything else and the law isn't interested?
