Hi everyone. This is my first grow and the grow room i have set up. What ya think?

DAN the sticky traps are just normal gluey insect traps. if you have a different selection then you are covering various flying insects that could enter your room on you. Glad you have OCD as this will help with the cleaning as you need to be anal with it and keep on top. you could also make or buy yourself a neem oil spray which will help with any unwanted insect attacks.

Hey jon couldn't wait so i have just been to my local grow shop and invested in some sticky fly privention tapes.... ha ha ha

REMEMBER PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE!!!!!!
 
Im not sure how to do that. I mean i'm that new to this site i don't know how to search for that. If you can run me through it, then i will defo check out your thread.
 
thnx for the comments on my pics. i am going to create a grow journal when i start my second grow . i will be detailing everything .. i want to make a couple of alterations to my room first eg EZ rollers little exhaust to help temps etc i will keep you posted.

one forgotten secret is to talk to you plants. Give them encouragement when you room the room gardening. I know it sounds foolish, but it is proven to work.

the only reason this works is due to the increased levels of Co2 from breathing in your room
 
some more photos that i couldn't add a few days ago that im adding now. Its day 4 and the girls have really picked up. growing at least 2 leaves in 2 days. and gaining about 0.5 cm stem length. Im also putting in a small radio into the room today to play for around 3 hours during the sunlight period. this is a bit experimental but im told that soft music can increase the growth. See what happens ey!!!!

looking good Dan are you using HPS light already?

on my next grow i am gonna get a 600w mh bulb for my veg time.. only asking coz the light looks orange like mine when i take pics.

yes m8 both are 600w and i'm taking real care not to scorch the leaves. So far the little girls have grow well and i'm only on day 4. i was going to use a different lighting for veg but a good friend on mine has advised me that they should grow just aswell under the 600's as long as i keep a close eye for the first couple of week then it should be fine. How is your grow going. any more pic's yet....?
 
ive got some new pics on my phone but not topped up yet to send them to my email addy. my ladies flowers are growing about 10mm a day . i used a 24w 6400k t5 flouro to get mine going 18 6 kept them under this unitil the first 3 finger leaves came then got them straight under my 600w hps they do grow just fine under this light only. next time tho i am definitely getting a 600w mh bulb for my veg time. it will work with ballast i bought in the beggining which is why i bought it lol
 
Erm got a quicky Q for every1. When should i be doing my first flush. They have had the 4th feed now but i'm unsure when and how much fresh to flush them with. How long should i wait to do a flush and the correct ( best way ) of doing this without causing any stress. ?????

if you are using coco which if i can remember you are! Im a bit baked right now lol. Anyway back to the point. With coco i tend to water with 20% run off and i water, water, nute....So far in 2 and half months i have flushed approximately once every week and a bit. When i flush i warm up some ph6 water to around 20C and i run 3 times the size of my pots. My pots are approx 7litres and i flush with 20 litres of ph6 20C water. Are you leaving your water from the tap out for 24hours before you use it? To remove chlorine etc?

Also check out my thread new and updated pics taken yesterday.
