Hi guys

I registered on this forum after reading a lot of interesting and very relevant information. You seem like guys who know your way around growing. I'm new to growing and I decided to give it a go just for fun after finding some seeds in a streetbag. With success. I'm trying to keep it simple as this is an apartment grow. So this site will be a good source of information.

Hiya Juhkka, and Welcome to R.I.U. nothing wrong with starting with Bagseed or starting small and keeping it simple(K.I.S.S.) one of my Favourite sayings...come methods of doing things...

What type of Light setup you running..?

Peace

EDIT: and kermit2692 is Baked!! LOL!

Tips for closet grow...use Mylar 30 bucks a roll, I personally wouldn't flower with less than a 400w hps, always leave tap water out a day or two, use an easy nute regimen general organics go box or technaflora recipe for success for chemical nutes, no miracle grow!! Lol...I would use flouros for veg, always have an indirect fan moving air around, temps cannot go above 80 humidity should be around 50 percent..Idk just bunch of random stuff of the top of my head..good luck!!

Thanks for all the tips.

As of right now you might call me crazy but the only light source I'm using is a 36W T8 lamp in the bathroom with an 840 cool white tube in it (4000K).
About 10 inches above the plants. And about 8 - 9 hours of intense sunlight in the living room during the day through the window.
But I have four 15W T5 lamps with 4000K tubes, and three 19W 4000K CFL's I'm planning on making a light rig out of.
Is this too little? I'm a little strapped at the moment so I can't buy more powerful light sources at the moment.

I'm sticking to a full 24 hour light schedule. This will boost growth in the first stages, right?
Then switch to a 18/6 schedule in a few weeks.

They now measure 6 1/5 inches from the soil and they look green and healthy.
Leaves pointing up.

It doesn't bother me if I don't yield as much. I'm doing this for fun. If I get any smokeable results then great! :)

The nutes I'm using is something the local gardening store recommended for tomato plants, as I heard that tomato plants have similar nutritional needs.
So far they seem to like it.

But, yeah. I'll post more about it in a more suited section

Sounds good for a trial go, the veg light is alright if you keep it close when you set it up and it's only the one plant..I would upgrade to an hid if you do another run it will blow away what you do this time not just in yield but quality..I would advise to never use any chemical nutes personally and especially not some random 20 20 20 tomato food the plants just dint respond Very well ime to that type of food! Feel free to ask any questions and good luck learning though the first grow
