Hi, long time no grow.

Hey guys
The last time I grew was about 12 to 15 years ago. Since then I have been an occaisional but regular smoker

I have wanted to get back into growing for years now as I have a hell of a time finding the stuff and I really hate paying $'s for it.
The thing stoping me is I have a wife and kids, and the legal issues

Recently my father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given 8 to 12 months to live he is fighting hard but suffers with nausia, pain and a loss of appetite. So I thought "FUCK IT" I'm going to ask him if he will give it (MJ) a go, and to my suprise he is all for it.
So with permission from the missus, here I am ready to grow again

I have a 1.2x1.2x2m grow tent
400w Dimable lumatec balast
Adjustawings medium batwing shade
1 x 6" (I think) can fan - Exhaust
1 x Pc fan - In take
Carbon filter
1 x Osculating fan

Dutch master advance nutes including:
Add .27
Silica
Zone
Liquid light
Saturator

I'm using one 45L tub resivour with a 25L medium tray for 2 plants I think its called a "top feed system" Im not sure of all the lingo. And another two in pots as a trial.
I wanted to use clay balls as my medium but couldnt get it in time so I have gone with a coco/perlite/vermiculite mix, This has me worried as I'm not familiar with it.

I am starting from seeds which is also un-familiar for me, I only grew from cuttings in my growing days.

I have started with a few bagseeds which are suprisingly going well (3 weeks since germinating) I'm using these as my test subjects, they are 2 weeks ahead of my purchased seeds, which are White Widow, Lemon skunk, and OG kush. I also got some Swazi skunk and all the August UFO's from attitude.
I would love to hear what some god strains would be for the symtoms I'm wanting to treat.

Any advice, suggestions or questions would be most welcome, and thanks to the members who have already with my seedling problem.

This is the first and only forum i've ever been a member of. I dont even have FB.
But I like this site, I have already learned a lot. I wish it was around 15 years ago

you'll be ok bro. it ain't rocket science. stay organic. plant seeds in soil and stand back. anyone here will answer your questions. but you have you discern which is bs and which is not. stay out of the newbie section. you'll just get confused.
