Hi / newbie post

Hi,

Thought I’d say hi and introduce my self and all that jazz, I haven’t bothered with growing for well over 15 years (work / life / kids / houses) got my daughter a little kitchen countertop hydroponic unit (west kent) to grow some bits in and after we potted things on, I was given some lowryder seeds by someone not to long before which I might have accidentally put in for a giggle, which surprisingly took well.

Anyway 2 weeks in I ended up down the local grow shop shelling out for a new tent, 2 600w leds, 8 pot alien hydro setup, 1 x 8” and 1 x 6” silent fan with climate controle and everything else in between.

The room is set up in the shed at the end of the garden under the very careful watch of some insanely nosey neighbours just to add to things.

Everything’s all digital and different since I last had anything to do with it, so will be after a bit of advice, I’ve also never bothered with lowryders but might just get them out the way before getting some cheese on

Nice rig

Pretty much the same as it was 15 years ago. Feed em right with plenty of light. Stuff just looks fancier now. haha. Good luck!

Ha yeh sounds good, I left school at 16 to study horticulture and all I’ve done since but have forgotten allot about growing as it’s been so long but basics are there, I am loving how far the tech has come tho, im in love with the leds over hps already
