Okay here they are at 8 weeks flowering, 12 weeks total.

The cabinet. Finally you can see what I was working with originally in the beginning before moving the operation. The crawl space i was working in was a couple inches higher than that cabinet.

its an insulator .. im guessing. so it builds up heat or just cooks the box rather than just reflect light (as a white surface would)
same things happening to my setup.. constant fight with high heat but they can take it with good air flow

Camera quality is CRAP!! But the quality of those buds is undeniable! Very sweet turnout man. My advice is go with an autoflower, maybe a lowrider for your pc. Kudos lance!

I'm so pumped, i'm going over to the house today to hopefully harvest these things. It's been 9 weeks and a day flowering. Hopefully i can get a real camera too this time for the money shots, LOL. I just hope they're ready, i'm doing this by eye and not with a microscope. Last week the white hairs were receding, and maybe 20% of them were turning orange/red. I'm waiting for most of them to be that way, like the harvest tutorial shows.

They weren't ready. Giving them another week, took shots but didn't feel like posting them. This weekend i plan on taking em down. : )

I'm really pumped, it will be 10 weeks flowering this weekend.

First harvest, done. Will make hash with leaves (another adventure lol) and am drying nugs. Don't worry, those lights aren't staying in there to dry them, it was just for the picture.

I was hoping for 3oz, looks like maybe 2 when all dried. We'll see, I'm a newb and don't have an eye for this yet.

15 weeks total, 11 weeks flowering. And still, some of the hairs on the top nugs were white. The stalk nugs were all orange though.

Conclusion: My 260w, CFL, 3ft clearance crawl space, small storage cabinet, FIM'd blue mystic grow operation was a success from start to finish. Miracle grow soil, Miracle grow nutes, 2 plants in 1 big pot, no transplant, no pre-germination, 2 seeds dropped in 1 big pot and patience ... yep ... i didn't spend 3 month's R & D to fail. This operation blows the critics out ... it's a weed ... it'll grow.

I spent all this time trying to do this and nobody seems to care like they do on other threads. Must be the crap pics and CFL's

was that actual watts or equivelent of 260 watts? I don't know a lot about yields & such but considering the conditions & nutes you used I think it turned out pretty good. yeah the pics are lburry a bit but you can still get a good idea of size etc. I still haven't gotten this all figured out yet. Could you have left the nugs with white on them longer or was it all or nothing? I ask because I haave read about ppl chopping part of the plant & letting the rest go abit longer.
so I guess the question now is can you repeat your results and perhaps improve on the yield?
In my opinion right now I'd be happy with half what you have because it's still 100% more than i have, lol

I think the grow worked, I do think there was some moisture/humidity problems from the beginning. Did you say it was in a crawl space? You can tell it was starving for air because the fatter the leaves, the more moisture the plant is trying to perspirate out of its leaves. Try adding a dehumidifier if you going to do it again, that might eliminate some rot, (root rot will cause those leaves to die like that). Looks like it was a decent yield non the less. Hope it smokes good!!

Thanks guys. 260 actual cfl watts. 4x26w blue, 6x26w red. It was in crawl space but was moved into a new place a few weeks into flowering.

I really want to do HPS next time and just use those 4x26w for vegging. I can't decide how far i can get with how much space. I'd love to do 600w, 400w probably more feasible, 250w for sure no problem. I'm thinking wardrobe grow with 400 or 600w cooltubed.

That would be a heck of alot better grow than the CFL crawl space grow. Dont get me wrong you can get fat nugs from CFLs (my grows for example) but you have to do it to a tee.

you might look into Ceramic metal halide bulbs (runs on hps mag ballast) they go up to 400 watts & Riddleme says they don't put out as much heat as HPS. It is also a full spectrum bulb, one bulb from veg to flower check his grow threads for the proof on CMH bulbs.
