A few years back I lived in an apartment building, And wanted to grow on my balcony so I went to a dollarstore and bought the pinkest plastic flowers I could find ripped them apart and stuck twist ties through the flowers and tied them to the top of my plant and all around,move flowers as the plant grows. Top the plant to keep it from looking like a x-mas tree train branches to look more loke a bonzi. With the flowers poeple will think twice.

Did I mention I work with hot ruberized asphalt, and in the city we use an adative that smells like pine. dip a tampon in it and hang it on your balcony and every one will smell pine. just a little a drop dose a lot also used by roofers

I believe a smelly tampon would attract more attention[Joke]... Also a pine smell probably isn't the best choice because my friend was growing some stuff he calls "Christmas bud" and it smells strongly of pine.

great idea choke, Desired do you really think someone that has never smoked before would no that the strain christmas bud smells like pine lol and i doubt he meant hanging the tampon in clear sight. I think this idea is great! As long as your not growing Skunk or something.

Thats an old tried and true technique of the gorilla growers.You add some fake flowers with ties that way drive by viewing or helicopters have to really look. You can find flowers that look similar to nayural local flowers and in actuality camo each plant into looking more like it belongs. You can do this with a few plants in your yard to keep nosey neighbors from even noticing.Smell is such a non factor outdorrs with only 1 or 2 plants here and there so its a good practice I have seen and done myself a few times.Sativa can be made into sunflowers quite easy..

Not a bad idea for people who are not interested in plants but as soon as they get even a hint that your growing, i put money on it that they look a little closer and notice, and this is when jealousy sets in. be careful!!

fake flowers, oh well if that is masking the real thing, could be a way to go, but i would shop more for plastic flowers of some exotic look rather then just flashy once;) that pine oil is a really good idea by the way to mask the smell, but with exotic flowers would a tropical smell not rather fit?;)

great idea! im working inside w? seedlings and i have a work table (ping-pong) thats coverd w/garden shit so i have all kinds of seeds layin around tomato habenro, jalapeno on and on oh yeah i also got some cat nip now whenever i have company i just say im starting my garden plants its a great cover catnip somwhat resembles pot i have all my seedlings labled catnip no one even thinks twice!!!

they are not to bright then or really stoned. all marijuana plants have a very obvious leaf pattern quickly reconsized. hats off to the flower idea but your smokin too much

I use flowers on the plants I keep on my balcony.works great people don't even know even when their right beside them. Alot of people are ignorant no one should know you grow. TELL NO ONE

This isn't for foolin you friends, It's for fooling onlookers, neibours, If you can't trust your friends keep them away from your plant!!

Great tip. Dollarstore pink flowers work!!! LST'd RQS Northern Light w fake pink flowers & the leaves trimmed. Next to ordinary garden plant w pink flowers. also smelly herbs: mint, basil, oregano, marjoram (culinary herb that IMO smells a lot like cannabis, but not too similar). green lady looks obvious to me and probably to you too (nicely fattening colas bit of a giveaway) BUT my neighbour stood in front of it for 15mins & didn't look at it ONCE, didn't notice the smell.IMG_20201223_112611.jpg
