hey dude,
i know u said u dont want to put it in a bank due to legitimate reasons but have you thought about swiss banking??
bank accounts in switzerland have very strict data protection/privacy polocies and accounts are uncheckable even to the swiss government!

or u could register a few ebay accounts and sell somethings to urself to launder money

swiss bank accounts are a sure fire way to hide money that the goverment cant seize. Switzerland still has open nazi accounts from ww2 when they deposited millions of stolen jewish money and jewles. Brazilan banks are the most stable in the south americas. But 30k is not alot to raise suppision, You can start a 'service business" limo,taxi, guided tours, to claim money, pay the state tax and your free and clear. Best bet is to hire a pro to give you the best options to hide and invest your money. never hide your stash at home!!!! All a hacker has to do is follow your trail to find you and your house and they got your grow and the moneykiss-ass, be carefull good luck!

you reading my mind? :) i will put it in a freezer baggie then a mason jar and off to the backyard i go to dig. it is in a safe now not fire proof by any means so i will go dig today. thank you all for your input and ideas and spending your time with this post :). jeff

id say bury it in a tin somewhere only you would find it. the cops will search your home till they cant search it anymore. theyll look everywhere. as in any holes cans appliances and everything. they might even rip stuff apart like pillows and couches. i think burying it is the best idea and do not tell anybody its back there.

maybe you can invest in foreign currency, someone else already said that the US dollar is losing its value which is true. I know the iraq dinar is really cheap and hopefully when the USA pulls out and they get their shit straight it will go up. I know the Dong is also low and someone people have predicted it will raised something crazy like 1000% over the next 10-15 years.. but its gamble my 2 cents

be sure to wax around the seal of those jars to prevent your money from rotting to keep moisture out it will and can get in do the same on bud if your burying in mason jars

the bills where put in zip lock baggies then placed in the jar heated the lid to seal it and put the ring on tight (first ring i popped to tight i guess hehe) its in the ground.
and cant even tell where its at. thanks all
p.s. wont be there to long me and the old lady are going to buy a place she has a great job so it will not be a big deal if she bank rolls it :)

you can buy iron shut airtight material - used for sealing large amounts of skunk etc. Seal your money in one of these but with a weight in then drop it in your water storage tank in the loft.

Really? If you look up "how to make a safe" there are like millions of tutorials on how to make them they cost an average of like 4$ in all, and you can make them a lot cheaper if you just make a cardboard box for behind the switch. I have one of them, and no one knows about it. Sept like if you plug something in to it it doesn't work, but they assume it's just a faulty plug. It's actually pretty bad ass.
