high elevation gorilla grow!!

gonna try and do a gorilla grow in the central sierras around 9500 ft this year just looking for some feed back on the elevation and if its to high. ive got four strains in mind a dj short blueberry more sativa pheno, gorilla glue another sativa pheno. Trinity Kush super indica and a phat fruity. gonna try and get them in the ground by may 31 gonna mix up so organic amended soil to plant them in and mulch heavy. i know it can get into the high 80s even low 90s around the place im gonna put them and im pretty sure it gets down in to the 30s latter in the year snow really dosnt start to fall till October 1st though

I'm only 2,000 feet above sea level and I get snow end of October- early November and I have humidity problems I have to have my humidifier going just to keep it above 30-35%, with your height I know it has to be a bitch.

Good luck growing at that elevation. If you're actually above 9000', chances are you'll be above the tree line so you'll need to worry about hiding your plants if you don't want to lose them. And anything green growing that high will attract the attention of any herbivores that might want to take a bite so you'll need protection.

Add in the overnight low temps and the chance of year round frost/freezes, you're definitely pushing the envelope. Once again, good luck, I hope it works out for you. Keep us informed on your progress.

the tree line stops around 9800 ft at the place i was looking the creeks ive found are about 3 4 miles off an unmaintained hikers trial threw so thick bush and i do know it dose get some pretty early frost but not year round.

where abouts are you located??
im in Cali and theres not alot if any places here that get snow on the regular at 2000 ft unless your way up north.

MITE BE A good place to do about 100000 outous..

The cold mountain nights will probably do you in before you have to worry about early frost or snow in the fall. They might survive, but I think it could be a tough grow for little return.
