High Humidity for Seedlings - Soil staying Damp?

Hi everyone,

My humidity was around 35-40%, so I got a cool mist humidifier. Now in my tent the humidity is around 60-70% for the seedlings. I believe this is ideal, but I haven't watered my plants since I put them in the solo cups 7 days ago. It's still constantly pretty damp. Even the top of the soil. Is this ok? The little guys seem to be happy and growing.

Yes, of course. 5 drilled little holes at the bottom of the solo cup. And I did 2 parts Ocean Forest and 1 part perlite for the soil. Like I said (and as you can see in the picture) they seem to be happy and growing well at 6-7 days old. I think it's bc of the humidity. I don't know.

I would leave them to get established just a small amount of ph'd water every 3/4 days leave the soil to dry but not to the point of drought.

They're growing so that's good but you do want things to dry out a little especially from the top layer so the roots grow properly and look to find water towards the bottom of the cups. Try and elevate cups so the bottom is on a screen or something that lets air in and lets water drain properly
