No he cant, the guy only ordered from one of High Times sponsors they are not responsible for what happens, and how would either the magazine or the supplier be responsible for what that man chose to do with his equiptment?

Oh great. I just ordered a fan (only) last month from discount hydro. I didn't know whether they advertised in HT, because I rarely read it unless someone else has one. The box was discreet and minimally labeled, but being on the opposite coast I used my card. I thought they had a good rep. I may call them tomorrow just to ask some questions. I don't have a hydro operation or anything, just a couple of plants and no one else even knows about it.
Do I have to worry about jack-booted thugs kicking down my door just because I ordered a fan? Sheesh.

Looks like someone got narc for selling. The FBI would would be included on that report if they had something to do with it trust me. And or the DEA. If a grow shop talks about selling MJ they can get everything taken and all there records looked through. So if they see some names that match some growing tips then they stake it out. . . . MJ is huge revenue to the police just remember that. .

they had to been watching him b4 he ordered. probably for selling. then they started watching him and watching his spendings and stuff. then they realized he could be growing what he sold and the hydro set came in and that was enuff for a warrant. its hard to make a speculation without knowing all the facts.

I agree, seems like they were watching before the orders...This worries me and pisses me off at the same time..Both me and my wife order stuff online ALL the time, basically its smarter and easier from the basis of finding cheaper deals...I have ordered almost all my stuff online for growing, and mushroom stuff in the past too...I have never had issues or cops show up...
If the feds or whomever was tracking me and my wifes online purchases...they could possibly suspect that I'm borrowing satellite signals and have a grow light and a large aquarium..lol...and that i drink/brew alot of beer....
sheesh..i better be careful..this post might end up being evidence "b" one day....

The 'the law is the law' brigade were out in force, as I posted there did all the french resistance members that were executed by the gestapo in WW2 deserve their fate?
After all, the law is the law and what they did was illegal.
And I pointed out that the USA is a country built upon ignoring laws that people dislike.l Iam sure the treasonous behaviour you lot got up to in 1776 was illegal!

Interesting thread, I think we all get sucked in to the convenience of buying shit online or through the mail and paying with a credit card. I don't fuck with credit cards personally and there is certain shit that I'll drive and go get it myself. I also try not to purchase a lot of shit at one time from one store. It's also probably not a good idea to make too many trips back to the same store. All necessary precautions cause big brother has nothing better to do than to watch our every movement.
