I don't agree. Yield matters a lot in my opinion. And higher yields does not translate to lower potency. For high yielding strains look towards your sativas. Blue Dream and Super Silver Haze come to mind. However it's arguably more important to plant early and use more soil to achieve better yields.
Take the strain of your choice, plant or sow it in a three to five gallon container filled with a high quality seed germination soilless potting media, keep indoors under lighting in January, transplant outside into 100 gallons or Greater of regular potting soil (or conditioned native soil) after last frost date (see farmer almanac for dates and zone info ) which is usually between March and June depending on zone. Do quarterly soil test and feed as needed. Harvest based on age, size of buds, and trichomes levels.
