Hijack - Auto Seeds CFL/T5 Grow

Grape: Yep its got 3 big (and some smaller ones) branches that are going out and up to be bud sites. She is flowering its hard to tell with that picture but there are pistils and sepals ( the little round things [not male balls] the pistils come out of?) they are at the nodes. I am surprised that there are not pistils showing on the meristems. The berry just put out a bunch of pistils on her meristems yesterday so Im not sure with the mig if its the leaves blocking them so i cant see or what. The mig was advertised as 12 weeks I went in thinking it could easily take longer so this could be an early indication that it will.
As for the height she is bushy and I think the shortness is due to previous heat stress. The lights were too close with no fan earlier in her life and she as well as the berry girl moved very slow for a week or two.

Acid: Thank you. I love how good they look compared to my last grow. The internodes are tiny even now while they're stretching compared to my last go. Im excited to see what the berry ryder does. She just put her meristems up on stems a few days ago and then stuck out all those pistils yesterday. She had been shorter until she stretched starting 3 or 4 (maybe... my memory is somewhat limited) but she has a very nice symmetrical form. Much cleaner and in line than the mig.

Thanks ill put some pictures up when theres progress. The next time I move the light for whatever (probably when transplanting) ill take a picture of the mig from above. Its kinda hard to tell whats happening with some of it in that pic.

When should I transplant that auto ak into its final 3 gal pot? Im thinking between 1 and 2 weeks old. Once it looks nice and strong and has a second set of leaves out. What do you guys think?

Dan, autos should be planted straight into their final pot, they don't take the stress to well when you transplant them, some autos take the transplant better then others.
But yeah I think you should wait about 2 weeks to get the root mass going and then transplant.

You probably know that already but when you transplant let the soil dry out a bit, it will be easier to slip dry soil out of the of the pot then when it's wet.

Grape sure will post how the filter works out, from what I read on their page they use 2" of carbon instead of 1" or 1.5" and it's 18" long so for my small space should work just fine.

But I'll report on it as soon as I get it, I just called the place few minutes ago to find out if it's going to be shipped before the storm hit's the fan or after the storm but the guy told me that ups is still picking stuff up and it should leave NY today so I should get it by or before nov 1.

Can wait till it gets here lol bcuz that HiJack is starting to reek like crazy, as soon as you open the door to my house you can smell fresh weed, and plus I'm starting to use heat and night so the smell is spreading across my whole house thru the vents lol so the filter better get here soon.

Acid: Yeah I know its bad to move autos thats why Im going to do it as soon as the plants ready. I had gone all over trying to find square pots and eventually had to order them. So at that point I was waiting for new beans to get here as well as the pots. The beans beat a pots by 3 or 4 days and I got impatient germed a couple and they popped and were ready to go in dirt a day or two before the pots arrived. So yes I know its bad for them, I knew I situation I was putting myself in at the time and I still went ahead with it. Hopefully the move wont be too stressful... and hopefully Ill just wait a couple days next time something like this is happening.

Yeah its the one on the left. well, youre kidna right, there is no topped auto, in fact there are no real autos at all hehe the fuckikn things have been on 12/12 for the last month coz the failed to auto on 18/6 and were autgrowing the cupboard. Not gonna do this strain for a while, its a good strain for 12/12 though. I wanted to calibrate my grow room and techniques to this plant coz i did it on my fierst grow too. Did much better this round, so i think im ready to go wild n do some other strains now got a lemon skunk, purple wreck, sour kush, rocklock and an early misty to go 12/12 from seed in a few weeks. Will b posting in the indoor growing room. Hope to see u there!

and thanks acid, the local store around here has a 4in green hydrofarm fans for around 100$ but i didnt look at the carbon filters. id much rather just pop into the store to pick it up, rather than having to order online.

ill wait a few days to update with pics, i am having a huge magnesium deficiency. by the time i narrowed it down to mg, i wasnt able to pick up any cal mag at the store because of the storm. i had to watch my babies get worse for a few days
I fed them their normal nutes + cal mag yesterday and already i can tell the DDR is feeling a little better.

(edit: only the Hijack and DDR were suffering from MG deficiency)

ill drop an update in a few days when things get better.

Grape 100 bucks for 4 inch seems kinda steep, I paid for my fan and a filter 119 bucks out the door with free shipping.
It should be here tomorrow, I just checked ups's tracking page and finally it's on the move.
So I'll let you know about it when I get it.
I need that filter so bad! LoL even my wife when she comes in the house she's like wtf lol the smell is getting stronger and stronger.

Grape I see we got the same pheno of the HiJack, get ready for some nice stretching buddy mine is about 23in tall and about the same or a bit less sideways, all I can say she's a big girl with strong side branching, I love the way she grows and I love the way she smells lol.

I like how the ddr looks, little christmas tree. How tall is that DDR? seems a bit shorter then the HiJack, but like I said HiJack is a big girl lol.

The smell is getting stronger and stronger each day, it's like kinda citrus with some undertones of sandalwood and some fuel, I'm not sure if it's a diesel smell or more like a JET A fuel that you smell some times at the airports when the planes are taking off if you're near the take off strip.

I like how she smells my wife on the other hand she doesn't like it, she says it makes her feel sick, it was same with Diesel Ryder, she loved the smoke but she didn't like the smell lol.

I wonder how that original amnesia and fruit auto will smell, I heard that fruit auto smell very fruity lol so will see if my wife will like the smell of them girls lol.

Low I'm not sure what are you asking about testing the smell of resin?

to combat low RH, you could try putting a container full of water with a towel half submerged in the water in front of a fan in your grow room. just make sure the air is blowing through the wet towel.

Acid: the hijack is about 18 inches tall and the DDR is about 12 inches tall.

What he means is to pinch/rub a tiny bit of one of the frosty fan leaves, then smell your finger right after. i do this quite a bit and man the hijack smells lovely!
