Yes, there were animals that evolved from apes into neanderthals, but humans came seperate. Neanderthals were animals.. they didnt have souls. I believe the bible and science support eachother, the bible explains how and science explains why. Humans were gifted souls, we have the ability to feel love and distinguish good from evil.
