HLG 650r Hanging Height & Intensity

Long time listener, first time caller. I could find max height and max intensity, yet I can’t seem to find any information regarding height/intensity from seed to harvest. I have been running 18/6 with 28 inches at ballpark figure 40% intensity. Not having labeled a wattage percentage on the dial of the HLG 650r only exacerbates the problem.
Reporting growth, albeit a little slower than last run due to either too much light or hot soil. I can eliminate the light distance hypothesis with your recommended height/intensity settings from seed to harvest.
Running all autos in a 5x5
Environment Temps 63-81
Humidity 53%
6in AC Infinity
Mother Earth Terracraft/Happy Frog with Nature’s Living Soil combo.

Welcome to RIU. So I have the 600 and spoke to Steven from HLG. He stated 50% at. 30" for veg and. 24" full power for flower. Adjust the light up slowly the 2nd week of 1212 until you reach full power over 5 days or so. This seems to work well. He also said the best way to figure out the dial is to put a killawat meter on the plug. This is what I did, you plug it into the wall and plug the light into it. It will display how much the light is drawing giving you the most accurate settings you could get. Much more accurate than a potentiometer with notches on it. I would love to see a little LED read out on the lights but this works perfectly.

Thank you so much for the detailed response. This helps tremendously. I will look into the killawat meter.
