HLG B-Spec Veg light, anyone tried it?

HLG has them in stock. Why didn't you order direct from HLG?

Yeah HLG will ship out next day from my experience, I'd get my money back from that shop and find elsewhere to do business.
I have a 288 bspec in a 2x3 veg cabinet and I love it. Very powerful light. Was just talking to a buddy about this last night. We both have to keep them turned down and away from the plants. I wouldn't be surprised if one of these could veg a 3x3 without a problem. Crazy bright. Definitely recommend. For less than $100 for board and heatsink from hlg, and another $60 for a driver, its hard to beat

2 of the 4-pack QB 120’s on an HLG-320H-24 or HLG-480H-24 driver.
Around $400, each board can be ran up to 70w without heatsinks. You can space them out and would get much more even coverage then QB 288 boards like the B-Spec.
I would either go that route or DIY with some strips.

I just bought 3 of them and I love 'em. I got a decent deal for the 3 cause I called and talked to one of the guys. I think it was either Greg or Gary. Mine came with the newer Inventronics driver. My electric bill was also $70 less this month. My first full month of using them.
So far their has been a major difference in node distance and length of each stem. Nodes are closer and stems are shorter than what I used to get with my 600 watt MH conversion bulb. Give HLG a call and see if they have any deals. Can't hurt. I like that they are right here in the USA.
I only use them for veg in my 4 x 4 tents. Excellent coverage using only 400 watts

That was exactly my plan. I have a 3X3 nursery that i was going to replace 200W of T5 with a 150W Bspec.
I'm kinda leaning towards NukaKola's idea of better spread and was thinking of angle framing two QB132 at 150W.
I like to support my local guy, he's pretty damn cool. He beats HLG MSRP and there is no shipping cost, so its about the same as ordering from HLG direct.
I'm pretty sure he can cancel the Bspec and apply my deposit towards a set of QB132

Ive got 4 of their qb120s running in my flower cabinet and love them. Can't go wrong with HLG

I honestly would doubt this they are pretty good at getting these out and also at answer the phone! Most of the companies that sell them get them from hlg as in they call the factory like (you should) at least from my experience
