HLG Customer Support

I just wanted to pass on to those who may be looking for a new light that I was looking today and noticed HLG has a bunch of their lights on sale on their web site (Scorpion, 600 Rspec, 350R, 300L Rspec etc) as well as some of their quantum boards and parts. In addition I made a recent order and had a minor issue and emailed HLG support. I received an immediate response. Just want to say that they went above and beyond to help me. I'm just a customer and not affiliated with them or any business, just a pleased customer and wanted to say thanks for great products and great customer service to them publicly

I've had the same experience. Stephen used to (maybe still does?) Spend a lot of time on these forums and every interaction I've had with him has been great. Excellent lights, great service. I recommend them to anyone asking about LED lighting.

That's one of the main reasons I've bought lights from them. Quality and customer service are very important to me, HLG provides both. I also appreciate how supportive of DIY they are, which has allowed me to build a high quality rig for half the cost of pre-built.

Anybody know if there's an RIU discount code for HLG?

RIU10 but codes don't work for sale items I don't think.

Somebody in another thread mentioned picking up a refurbished model, which they list as a sale model, and got some discount code deal on top of it. Thought it would be worth a shot.

Finally convinced a friend to ditch his SE 600, so I'm helping him shop lights.

Code does work for sale items. I just bought two qb288 slate 2 singles that where on sale for 94 dollars and got the 10% off that.

Any of those veg lights? Im looking to replace my t5s.

That's great... doesn't for some items though. Just tried it with the Scorpion, and the 600 and the 300L Rspecs and didn't work for any of those turnkey leds on sale. But the sale prices are still quite a bit of the normal prices.

Also if they are in Canada just have them email HLG Canada and they will provide a custom 10% off code when you tell them the RIU code doesn't work on the HLG Canada site.

The BSpecs are veg lights and the RSpecs are both veg and flower.

Thanks, this is what i was looking for. After getting TERRIBLE customer service from Spider Farmer ( their Chinese reps want me to solder on a good power supply to my light that doesnt shut off to see if I need to pay to send in the power supply and wait for them to maybe replace it) Im going with HLG.

I have 4 SF1000s in my 5x5 flower tent which im looking at the HLG 600 V2 Rspec for $699 to replace the SFs.

I have 2 SF1000s and a SF600 (the 600 goes between tents depending on timing) in my 4x8 veg tent which im looking at probably the same wattage but just swap them out for HLGs but I like to have a light with a dimmer for when Im popping seeds.

Does anyone know if HLGs 100 or 65 lights have a dimmer or if they are working on any with dimmers?

Like a month after I got the SF1000s they came out with the dimmable ones, so I dont want to go through that again.

I emailed CS yesterday about my 260 BSpec light being dim. Ended up being my potentiometer. Chelsie from HLG is always very helpful and quick to respond. Solved my prob and have the part being sent out to fix it. HLG once again comes thru.
