Those are foxtails, said to be from environmental conditions like like too close or too hot, or from genetic disposition. I don’t claim them as ‘bad’. I want them. But people who want certain style looking budz don’t want them.

Interesting, thanks for the info. It’s only happening on one of my colas, just wasn’t sure it it was a sign of something bad. The hairs coming out these things are insane, super thick and clustered. Can’t wait to smoke em.
I have the same thing happening to two of mine right now. Too close to the light.

luckily I only have a bout a week left before they get chopped, I guess next time I should keep my girls a bit shorter, the lights can’t go any higher.

They're perfectly smokeable. If you're growing just for yourself they're not really a problem, just a hint to keep a close eye on your conditions next grow.
