Different metals can cause different elements of the nutrients to drop out creating a deficiancy and can leach into the nutes causing metal poisoning to plants.
I call BS on this. In theory I suppose its possible. In reality half of the world uses copper pipes to transport water and plants still grow. I cant/wont believe a tiny screen is going to cause any problems.

I didn't say anything about the screen. Call it what ever you want but call it the truth first. Before you broadcast your intelligence any further do some research. With transporting water the pipes and metals are fine, its the reaction of the metals to elements(in much higher concentration) in the nutes that are used in growing that is the problem. Comparing apples to oranges has never won an argument.

Crazy, lol. Where would you put this? i cant really tell how big that is or where exactly it woudl go :) Hundred high fives for even taking the time to look for me dude! Thank you
From what i can see it goes inside the bucket, it is the lock nut that holds the pipe fitting so you remove your original nut and screw this in its place, the filter then sticks out into the bucket.

Heres another listing, if you look at the pic you can sort of see how it goes.

I've had this problem before, if someone hasn't already suggested, what you gotta do is place an elbow "inside" the bucket and have it reach towards the surface.... only issue being you gotta watch your levels...I use those clear tube deals outside my buckets or tubs, NTM I got a automatic topoff thingy....,.

Would anyone here suggest using something like hygrozime? since im SURE there has to be some roots probably getting pulled off SOMEPLACE and they just gonna rot in there.. For my system. Hygrozime? i used in soil my first grow years ago. ok in hydro? Thats to help dispose of dead plant matter right? if i remember right
