I don't know about putting it in the sun. In the sun it will require more water, if the stem is broke how can it give the leaves the water it may need. Baby it, nurse it, watch it closely until it heals and starts growing again. I like the dome idea, and I would have it in lower light until it recovers. I broke a seedlings stem last week and it took about a week to recover and start growing again. Another thing I would do is give it light nutrients, then when it is ready make sure it develops it nice root system before flowering. Good luck.

So do you suggest putting in the shade for a few days as this is an outdoor grow ? & for the light nutrients can I just give it worm castings or bath guano or should I just give it the food it will need in the vegetative stage with a npk of 20-20-20 ¿

I've been through this before, and I'm just saying what I would do. You have a long ways to go yet with this plant, plenty of time for it to grow into a monster. If the soil mix is rich at all with any nutrients in it you should be fine with just water until it recovers. I would keep it out of direct sunlight for a while. In about a weak it will be healed, if it's ok now it will most likely continue to be, good luck.

honestly man, i would start over. that plant looks like its 5 minutes old, and all this drama has probably stunted growth for at least a week.

if u dont want to start over, as others said, splint and tape. (think like a broken leg). Sunlight doesnt matter, its the heat thats the problem. since its not flowering, u can leave in the shade for a few days. and use something to contain the moisture.

good luck

I break mine on all the time . well kinda . I squish them both directions like a straw . crunch then crunch . Then fold it over and tie in town to my screen . it looks like an open wound for a few days at most then it's all healed up and off to races again . The main problem you get from open wounds to your plant is . Its an open invitation for bugs to attack your plant . it gives then entry point and fluid . Your girl should be just fine .

leave her in the shade if this happened after you put her in sunlight.

I put it in the shade & the leaves are still drooping , they are even starting to curl up :( *shakes head* !! Is this normal due to the snapping of the stem ? Will my girl still survive ? Please help

shit they'll recover, the dome might be a good idea. i think she needs more humidity and less heat, if she doesn't get better in the shade you should for sure try the dome.

For those who are interested I'd like to update this thread by saying this morning when I went out to check on my girl the leaves lifted back up (for the most part) & are very green . I'm confident that she'll be A OK ! ;) idk if it's the super thrive I put in there that's doing the trick or if it's simply the splint holding the plant up but i'm not complaining HEAL BABY! HEAL!

Cool! I have heard of superthrive working wonders before, some people think it's snake oil.
