Home Depot or Lowes?

if its lowes they should have it? are you in the usa?
East coast.
I look outside (and in) but have never seen ProMix.
Not sure about Kellogg's based soils.
40 kinds of tree mulch and other soils that are made to be mixed with outdoor soil or MG enhanced nute soils.
My local garden nursery has big bails of semi-organic soil I can buy this time of year.
Low price but it's like dragging a body out of the car and in to the house.

Supporting the smaller garden/hydro stores is fine? It's a must. Under no circumstance does anyone need to go to a mega store, none. There is always a hydro/garden store somewhere nearby. Even if it is an hour or so drive give them the business. If you shop at any of the mega stores just as if you use a mega monster bank instead of a credit union, you are supporting the enemy.
If you are actually in Cali you don't need to go to Lowes to see pretty girls.
Sure, I'll be happy to shop at the local hydro store for such things as aged compost, perlite, and peat...if you pay for it.

They can't compete on pricing w/the big boys, and don't even carry half the stuff I use anyways.

I've never seen a single item made by fox farms at home depot. that sucks.

And whats this person saying something about security cameras making noises? WTF I never seen this before.

hahah Home Depot employees are required to make eye contact with customers and ask them if they need help. I know what it's like not wanting to talk to anyone. I'm usually baked in the store. lol

You guys should see my local hardware store, lol. You'd trip. They sell produce and all there. Your one stop shop. Solid store but hella pricey

Buy the cheap stuff + amend it with castings/perlite/etc.
It's better than toasting your plants, you can always add teas later if it begins to fade.

I've used regular MG potting soil for years, and still do sometimes. Just plain water to the end + it's fine.
The new Moisture Control is way too hot and needs more perlite added than the regular MG potting soil.
I like to test things for myself; and they were shocked at first, but grew out of it.

I still recommend the cheap stuff with amendments mixed in, Lowes/Home Depot usually has most of it.

I read that article already. Total wtf situation.

Does anyone grow using Homer Buckets? lol
You mean those 5 gallons they sell at Home depot? Lol i avoid buying those buckets at all costs. Lol I'm a tradesman and if any of my fellow tradesman seen me with those buckets, I'd be getting teased all day hahaha. Don't know why it's like that, it just is. Those homer buckets remind me of 'greenhorn' tradesman lmao
