Cheers vh! I'm still not even sure how this rep thing works. I keep seeing "like" buttons appear and disappear...apparently at random. Smoking might not be helping there though...

Cheers all. Glad to have you along for the ride. The crystal production is amazing for this early by my reckoning...I'm obviously pretty pleased, although the pressure is on now to keep it going smoothly!!

A few lower leaves (small fan leaves mainly) have started to yellow and drop, but I'm not worried yet because they're all shaded ones which weren't getting much light anyway. I'll probably add a little bit more N in the next worm-tea feed...just in case, but nothing drastic. I'm keeping the faith with the worm poop, kelp and molasses, since they did me proud in the veg stage.

Any leaves that get more than 50% yellow get pulled, everything else is staying so far. I may trim the popcorn later. I'll post a couple more pics then wait to update again when there's more action to report!!

Well, rep isn't that big of a deal. There are lots of people around here with a full 12 bars and when I follow their posts, I wonder why.

And anyway, I'll rep you for honestly documenting a complete harvest with those promising LEDs, no matter the outcome.

I'm sitting here just staring at the buds...willing them to grow bigger and faster. Since I'm out of smoke at the moment patience is proving a challenge...I keep seeing other people's grows and wishing mine were further on already!!
Even though they don't seem to have done much in the last week, a quick read back through this thread and a look at the pics tells me we're starting to get there. The odd brown pistil here and there gives me hope that they'll start fattening up soon.

Go buy quite a bit of more bud. I've ruined so many plants due to not having bud on hand and always regret it afterwards. Pictures?

Unfortunately, major supply issues means that I may need to wait a while to pick up. I'm trying to survive on scrapings at the moment, but I'm pretty sure my girls are still a month short, so I really do need to get on the case before the small lower buds start mysteriously disappearing!! I've already tried lightly rubbing some of the early trichs on a rolling paper to see if there's anything in them...there's plenty of oil there already, but it's still very light in chems this early. No surprise there though really.
The phen with the more sativa-style early leaf growth is by far the more icy of the two, although the other is starting to catch up now. ( I have a third, but I'm ignoring her for now, as she is a few weeks behind the others, and isn't getting nearly enough light in the corner for me to expect much from it.)

I just hope they start to bulk out soon......<taps fingers impatiently>. If these colas stay the width they are now then even if they do fill-out top down they'll be pretty small buds.

Lights went 12/12 only 29 days ago. (Actually...now that I've written it like that I think I'm probably waaaay too early to be worrying about how chunky they are yet. It feels like it's been much longer though in my defense...)

They're looking great so far. They should start to fatten up very soon... well... with an HPS they should.

I have yet to see a good finish from LEDs. I'm following your thread hoping yours will be better.

Pretty early to be worried. I wouldn't expect gigantic buds but they'll get much larger than they are now. Very healthy looking ladies - if you're patient I'm sure they wont disappoint you.

I saw your plant pics and it reminded me of mine at 28 days... Your looking good imo. mine was under 280watt led and 250 watt cfl
