Haha. Home security system. Most people would call that a pet......

As soon as he bites someone, you're going to get a civil suit, and probably be found out about your grow. So have fun with your "Security"

I have a boxer/pit boy, boxer boy.. They would wreck shit :) ...All the dogs that have been posted look great, especially the ridgeback.. I think my next dog will be either a Presa Canario, Dogo Argentino, Boerboel, or Cane Coroso, but I'm pretty deadset on the first.

I have to admit the Ridgeback is a family dog - my personal "Boy" is a S.A. Boerboel that tips the scales at about a buck 65. He's got a massive head & chest ! A very impressive pal.

Nice, how is a boerboel? I have yet to speak with an owner of one all i am working with is what I have read on the internet.. Any reason you picked a boerboel over other breeds?

He's just now two & still filling out - his personality is much like a Mastiff, very laid back but when alerted is scary serious! I would not like to be the object of his attention if he got mad.
I chose him because I have relatives that know the breeder - he was a "litter left-over" because he's not breed standard - he has a couple white toe nails which is a no no according to the SA Boerboel society. His littermates went between $2-3K apiece.
Long story short I wouldn't trade him for anything. One thing to keep in mind is that they are generally a "Wet mouth" breed & I find it is handy to have a shop towel when he comes in after drinking.

How much do ridge backs cost? What is there temperament. My 95lbs. shepherd is quite protective of our property and family. he won't take a treat from someone who doesn't live in my home.

Yeah, I one of my boxers is pretty bad about it cause he has real droopy lips but I'm sure its nothing compared to a boerboel haha.

no ripper action yet. here is another of my dog.

he is an american pit bull terrrier(obviously). he is a lil scrawny cuz some ass hole didn't take very good care of him. he is a "blue line" kennels bully. the douche that originally had this dog paid $3500 for him. the dogs father has a $10,000 stud fee. i got him for free. i just had to pay for the crate, and the airfare. i even got the papers from ukc. what a deal eh? top notch dog, he just needed a little bit of love.:joint:
