Yo,

Seasoned soil grower, 1st time hydro -> need a little direction.
Building a home made aeroponics system with a few pumps, pvc pipes and a micro sprinklers, and i was wondering if it was play to leave the micro sprayers on 24/7 or would that drown the roots?

Grim, if it's true aero you are going for, no the water pump isn't running all the time. It runs on a cycle timer one minute on 5 minutes off or some variation of that. Less water more aero. Good luck.

Thanks! But can 24/7 be done successfully if spray pressure is carefully tuned ?

yes.

but, i dont see the benefit.

make sure you have an extra pump... just in case.

my hommie runs his aero cloner 24/7 , swears by it actually.

however, he runs the main grow tubs on a cycle timer.
