Are they safe? I heard if you use a pen case too many times it fucks up your ability to get a boner lol
 
homemades are good for like 4 sessions. then its time to make another... or save your money and buy one.
 
well you wouldnt be saving money if they are home made ones....

if ur gonna make a home made one, dont make the down pipe out of plastic. use metal, or glass
 
I have multiple homemade pipes ranging from ash catchers- bongs...
They all have either female and male glass peices or they're glass on glass.....
therey completely safe because nothing other than the weed burns...

i like them... some rip harder than glass peices.!!!

a glass peice and acrylic/plastic peice of same size and shape will both give the same hit :)

the acrylic/plastic peice however will leave the stench of bongwater, and give a fucky taste.

but i agree, homemade bongs can hit just as hard as store bought ones, so long as they have similiar specs.
 
I want to find out how to sacfely drill glass without making any extra fratures. I have a thin glass vase that's particularly straight up that would make a good small bong . . haha

"diamond drill bits" or glassworking drill bits for a dremel tool, or something similar.

use the rounded head to make the puncture through the glass
then use the 'pointy" head to round out the rest.

tape where you're drilling, and dont forget to use water on your bits to keep from "gumming up the works"

make sure you clean out all the fillings before you smoke. you can seriously fuck your lungs up if you dont.

and if its thin it prolly wont drill to well.
 
It's pretty new, my dad just bought the set like a week or two ago. Is there any way to clean it out? just to be safe
 
being that new it should only have the oil they put on at the factory on it. dish soap should clean it okay.

but i strongly recomend getting a legit bowlpiece

i would give your dad his tool back...

you should buy a slide set, it wont set you back more than 30$. and that's way high prices for the slides..


if you arent old enough to go to the headshop, you shouldnt be on the forum..
 
Yeah man I used to use sockets too for bowls, trouble is now when I need a wrench I never have any sizes. You should just go to a head shop and buy a bowl for like 4 bucks and then your set.
 
You can use a metal door stop. Like the little boinnngngnngggggggggg thing. I use to use those befor i bought my glass down stem.
