Who cares about looking snall. I would rather look small and be truthful than lie and not only deceive others but myself as well.

I don't know about that one. I would say I lied when I was younger to get attention.
I think some people have said the same lie to themselves over and over again that it becomes the truth for them.

I think the reason people lie is being scared... scared to look small so you lie and build yourself up, scared of the consequences so you lie and make yourself seem innocent. Become scared of no man and you'll have no reason to lie

I rarely lie, but if I do, it's only to make the situation easier for all parties involved. For example, if someone asks if I lived in Germany for 22 years because I'm an Army brat, I just tell them "Yes".
It's not true. My parents were Dept. of Defense civilians, then I was in the Army, then I was a Dept. of Defense civilian. But it's a pain in the ass to explain all that.
So I lie.

I try not to lie, unless it's to my advantage. However, I'm really good at it, and my ability to manipulate people is actually quite scary. I am relatively honest, but if i lie trust me you wouldn't know. I mean it's a good ability when the cops show up, but I'm not to proud of it. My ability to manipulate females is truly godly, it's awful though the way they're all addicted to me, but I like it...

I am not a good liar at all. I think it takes someone with little or no conscious to lie. The thing is with people that lie is after a while they forget what stories they told who.

Oh it is a good answer. Just what type of shallow personality does it take to care how big or how small you look to others.
I would think that it should matter more what you think of yourself .

Yes, but I'm damn good at it, and I have a conscious, I just know when to ignore that fucker for my own benefit. I never change my story's around, I'm vary smart, which is how I manage to manipulate people so well, but I'm still relatively honest.Just a TAD on the arrogant side.

I'm starting to think I need to learn to lie better.
Nah...what I need to do is just not care about elaborating so much.
My hubby is constantly telling me I over analyze and over explain myself.
I can't disagree with him there.
I wish I could shut that conscious thing off but it is constantly there in my face so not sure how to do that one.
Wish I could at times.
Sometimes I feel guilty about shit that doesn't even concern me. Maybe because I think that everyone has 'feelings' like I do but if that were the case I think we would all be in big trouble. ...lol
