Honey VS molasses

hey guys
i have been experimenting with some plants on my balcony(all turned hermie on me cuz of light from indside my house)
but the buds are turning out allright and not many are poliunated( im picking my balls ) i live in denmark and im finding it hard to get molasses,
so i just gave them some local organic honey mixed with water, have anyone else tried honey ? and can it substitue molasses?
i have up'ed some pics of the buds they are in there fifth week of flowering and the trics are still clear, so maybe around 3 weeks left until they come down

Honey will work, but take the top off the jar - sit it in a pan of water and heat it up slowly until the water boils for five minutes. This will kill all the anti-bacterial micro-beaties living in honey. If you did not pasturize it first, simply mixed it and poured it into the soil - the Honey will kill off some of the micro-life in your soil. Once pasturized, it's just as good as molasses.

I thought Wallace n Grommit would be too subtle for the American market.

I would NOT use honey. Honey is an antimicrobial, it has antiseptic and antibacterial properties, and could kill the good microbes in the soil.

Hell honey COULD be good for those microbes, but that's the point, if you don't know but you do know it can kill some microbes then use it in an experiment first. Otherwise you might ruin your plant.

Has anyone got experience or really know of it being used? It sounds like an almost equal (and delicious) substitute.

You know what else tastes delicious? Anti-freeze; but I wouldn't put that on my plants...

So you've tried it then, right?

The point is YOU haven't tried honey so stop suggesting it simply because it's delicious.

well im using honey on the plant in the pictures( not boiled honey) and im getting really good results even if it is a hermie but im gonna boil it from now on as the anti septic effect sounds plauseble ( i know it works on wounds) , might even throw a organic beer down there as well just to give some more bacteria in my soil

kludge did you taste anti freeze? i dont think i would drink it even if i smells somewhat good

LOL, no I have not tasted antifreeze, but many a pet has.

Dude I just thought it was plausible, if you wanna get all rowdy cause you got an opinion that's fine. I won't make guesswork on how it might work (though someone's already posted a method...) when you apparently have vastly superior... okay I won't dwell into sarcasm either. Here's your "win" on an argument you've not substantiated.

Dude I'm not attacking you. You went off on a tangent about antifreeze when I was trying to make a point about the topic of the thread.

I have valid reasons why it MIGHT not be good. Your reason that it would be good is because it is delicious. My guess is still a guess but at least it's based on scientific facts, not deliciousness.

Remember, just because someone disagrees with you and asks you to base your advice on actual science doesn't mean they are personally attacking you. Some people just have this wacky idea that ideas should be based on quantifiable evidence; not hunches or personal beliefs or... dare I say it... deliciousness.

That was you on the antifreeze thing and you haven't said much on why it (HONEY) won't work yet Ohsogreen seems to have technique refine and you have... what? Seems to me you're just a board troll - some of us want to learn, some want to share their knowledge... you just seem to talk shit. I made one comment and inquired about it and you went off like a confused little kid and turned it into something it's not.
