Switching to 2K just at the end of flower seems somewhat pointless to me and just flat out to much work. I put my plants that are furthest along out to the edges and then put the NEW plant that are being added into flower RIGHT under the lights. Helps to prevent to much of a stretch because I keep them within 5" of the 400w HPS for the first 2 weeks... And I have noticed no ill effects of moving finishing plants from being under the BRIGHTEST of the light. If that makes any sense.
lol, yea man those are my producers in the back! This blueberry strain I found was a 'diamond in the rough' sorta thing, and I'm LOVING it!.. It's some work to keep them all happy tho sometimes. lol
Alright guys so check it. Here's what I'm thinking. I can either make the switch to hydro, and strat growin some dro, my only scare is that come summer time I don't know that I can keep my water temps under 72 degrees, so I may have root rot issues is what I was pondering...
Here's option 2. Just FORGET about the hydro all together, put up with the work and keep doing dirt (It's easy as taking a piss for me now, just time consuming) and swap my 2 400's out for a couple 6's instead..... lol
How much hotter does a 6 run than a 4? Does anyone have any personal expierence with this?
