Horizontal (Under bed) grow

Hey, heres my problem;

Need a really discrete grow, cheap to run and the only place I have to grow (indoors) is.... under my bed.

This gives me a space of about; 80cm wide by 120cm long by 25 cm high.

So I puffed away and had an idea....

As plants grow towards the light, would it be possible to grow horizontally.

I would have my light set up in the middle of my system, with 2 plants on either side.

Using LST and lots of netting (and the fact the plants grow towards the light) I would hopefully end up with 4 goodish size plants, stretched along the floor.

(A bit like a grow.... on its side)


Anyone tried this? Any ideas?

i think it will take some serious training but i grew a 10cm tall pot vine type thing its in my cfl grow right now! i just pinned the plant to the soil but you could use weights and run it along the floor! gonna be tough to seal out all light in the dark cycle??

Im building a box to keep it all in. Will be completely air tight, with a small bathroom style extractor fan.

cool make it reflective in there so the lighy bounces all over the place small spaces really help light distrabution.

i actually read about this in an old ed rosenthal book, its totally possible, h ewas using 4ft floros and cut holes in the side of the pots to water

Alright im gonna give my 2 cents...not much but hey.
So i would mount a 4ft or 2 ft florescent on the bottom of the bed maybe raising it up if you have to. then take em and train em like lst but so they run along the bottom of your bed and then flower and keep training it and with the light right above and you training it to run on the groun it should be perfect. Then block all the are you would need to do this and build a box thats light proof with a door on it. Hook up a bathroom fan that run for like 25 bucks at a home depot or some shit and then your set. As long as temps dont mess you up your good and you wont even have to tilt it on its side it will already be going that way. 100% possible i wish you the best of luck.I want to see the results of this.

you better watch out or your mom will find it, IMHO you should wait for a better time and place in your life. I hope it doesnt take 35 years for that to happen like it did me
