HorticultureSource.com Hell - Don't order from them!

I read the rules in the sticky and it didn't say anything about posting site reviews, so if this is against the rules, please delete this post.


I placed an order with HorticultureSource.com, and they pulled a bait & switch on me twice in the same order.

First, their site said the Quantum BadBoy 8 Tube T5 was in stock when it really wasn't. They took my money, then told me I had to wait 3 weeks to get it because they had none in stock. I needed it today.

The next problem was that I ordered "Earth Juice Natural pH Controller Up & Down" but they only sent me the bottle of Earth Juice PH up. The title clearly states it's supposed to come with both bottles, and both bottles are in the picture on the item listing. Yet they tell me it was only supposed to be for the PH down bottle, and I should place another order for the PH down bottle.

These people are rude and argumentative in their emails, and they ripped me off twice in the same order.

I was able to get them to refund me for the light, but they still won't send me the other half of my Earth Juice PH Up & Down kit

Their site sucks but their prices are the best.

Wow I put in a $1300 order on march 22 and it still hasn't shipped yet and now some of the items are out of stock. This site is the worst online store in history since the internet was discovered.

Yup, i also noticed their site has a huge security flaw. if you look around for their links on google, youll notice that many of the links are actually people's shopping carts, and if you click on them, you will be logged in as that person, and you can see that person's address, ordering history, shopping cart, etc...

Yup, just search "horticulture source cart" on google and click the first link. Youll see what i mean. Youll be logged in as someone else with their cart, and have full access to all their info. There are countless links like that all over google which point to many different people's accounts.

great just put an order in on wednesday and still waiting for it be change out of pending

I called 3 times today and all times they gave me the run around. So i called my bank and filed a claim, chase is refunding my $1300 within 24 hours and they will just deal with the shit. Gotta love chase, very good bank!

yea hes rite just search horticulturesource.com cart it comes right up. i totally unleashed myself to the lady answering the phones i noticed that its a different person everytime I call.

you know whats gonna happen right?

you get the cash replaced tomorrow morning and fedex will show up at noon

wow.. i got all he way to the end of check out with somebody else's account. all i would have had to do is change the address (it would have let me) and i could have ordered thousands of dollars in equipment. thats kind of scary.

yea too bad its just a scam anyways. all that would happen is those peoples account would be charged and you wouldn't get anything in the mail.

A scam, how do you mean?

well they took my money then a few days later 1 item said it was unavailable until next week so i waited, then when that was in stock my other item (today) said it was unavailable until april 15th. WTF??? I placed this order march 22??? I asked a question about one of the items b4 i ordered and they responded quickly, then when i gave them my money I got no replies when i tried emailing them 3 different times. When you call the people answering give you this runaround everytime saying "ok well i'll send an email to our product experts and they will contact you" I called 4 different times without anybody contacting me back. After being told that 3 times, when the 4th came around i went off on the lady asking her if the site was just a scam and how i couldn't understand y she couldn't look up my order or help me in ANY way. She said NOTHING to answer my questions, the only thing she would say was that she would send an email. To me it seems like they plotted this scheme. I hear of people recieving their small orders and everything being fine but once they get their hands on a big order they totally blow you off.

look up the reviews for them. the site is horrible!

just an update i did get an email today saying my order should be here tomorrow
