I was in Hawaii in the 80's, food was terrible. they used to say the best food you will get in hawaii is on the the flight over..I hear it's better now though...I like cold weather...I recently had the choice of caribbean cruise or alaskan criuse..I chose alaska...

I have been there during summer and winter and I still do not know which would be best to deal with as a full time resident cause the 24 daylight sucks also....ooooooh Alaska. Nice trip.

Yeah I gues it would. My parents went there just last spring and had a great time. I know I wouldn't like the darkness 24/7. that'd suck more for me.
