Thought I'd share some purrdy pictures with ye'all.
Hoping also to get some sort of guesstimate on how long I'll have to wait till harvest....at 8 weeks, but some plants sure don't look it!

I'm gonna post the pics in three groups: The first is just general vegging, the second is early flower, and the third is getting closer to finished....:eyesmoke:

But just how close I wonder... the shot of the plant with purple pistils seems to be way behind the game, and also especially Nitro deficient. Ya think I should apply any emergency dose of N rich fertilizer to these guys?.. or is it too close to harvest to wanna apply somethin nasty like that?

looks like they only need a week or two. i wouldnt use any nutes.

last year fox farm gave me the exact same results! i have since switched to maxsea. ive noticed that outdoor plants need a lot more nitrogen than indoor ones.

some people swear by the fish.... others despise it. Those against it claim it gives thier weed a fishy smell. Either way adding nutes at this point will effect the smell of your final product. If you are going to add nutes definitely go an organic route. rabbit poo would be perfect in this case. so would worm castings or bat guano. also make sure you flush for at least the last 5 days.

Hey

The Nitrogen Deficiency you see is normal at this time of flowering

The foliage is no longer using photosynthesis to grow and is now putting all its efforts into producing flowers. Don't worry about a thing, except when to harvest those beautiful ladies

I originally thought it was just that time of the year when it was going to begin to yellow... but some of the puny buds on the bottom of one of my plants are just yellowing and then browning and dying, and they're definitely not done yet... so :confused:

so long as divine intervention diverts my neighbor's (and their lawnmower dude's) eyes from the odd donkey dick bonsais on my property line, i think we've got no problem with security. They plants must be horribly blatant right now as they drive down their driveway..... but i've got no choice! the plants must ripen!

and according to weather.com, it's gonna be beautiful clear skies and 60º weather too!

sounds like you have yourself a plan!

a couple seasons ago i had some plants on a freinds back property line that bordered thier nieghbors. about halfway through the season i noticed that the nieghbors had just weed wacked thier entire property all the way up to the fence about 10 feet away from my plants... I have weed wacked before and its kinda hard to look anywhere else than the exact spot your cutting. i dont think they ever even noticed the plants even though they stood out like a sore thumb!

Kay, my right thumb's been numb for the past two days, and I'm only through trimming two plants........ actually 1.75 plants... But it seems that my buds are pretty airy, so any advice for making them look purdy when dry, rather than leafy and outdoorsy lookin? Do I need to trim ALL those little bastard leaves off?

unfortunately yes. that is the only way to make them look prettier at this point. if you dry and cure them properly you should also get good results. I have noticed airy buds are a result of the plants not getting enough direct light during flower. many times people choose a spot late in spring that gets plenty of light. However by fall the sun is at such and angle to the south it no longer gets much direct light. excessive heat can also produce airy buds but this usually happens indoors.

as far as clipping goes, I might just have to hire some south of the border help, if you know what I mean....
