:-| I Just want to make sure... I'm currently in the beginning of the veg. stage

I'm using 2 cool bulb floros, And i heard that these can be used for flowering as well...

The hours of light I have been giving them are on and off... Usually turn them on at Noon, and turn them off about 2am... Which seems like the appropriate time for flowering almost...
If I continue to grow with these... Will my plants flower before i want them to?

Hey Godkas, I think you mistyped, or were hitting the bong while you were typing? He meant to say its 18 hours on, and 6 hours off for vegging.
16 hours off, they might as well go on vacation!
Peace

lol, yes i know, I just back from K Mart, and they had some lights i was checking out... Some nice ones.. little high, but not to shabby... Then i was checking out the timers... 9.99 for a timer alone, and 9.99 for a timer + 6 output power surge protector thingy... lol?

But yea, I go to bed late, wake up late... Should i just let them sleep during the day and leave em on while i sleep? See, I dont really have concern for anything producing a fire... but there is always that chance ya know... Well.. I guess not really :)

Yeah, just let em sleep during the day and turn the lights on when you feel like it. Oh and don't waste your money on a timer, just turn them on when you go to bed and off when you get up - far better than a timer eh?

Perhaps the plants will be as lazy and dopey as you are when it comes to harvest time hmm? That's if they make it that far...

yo mate, use the cool light fluro's that you got for veg... you can use em for flower but you want to get atleast 5 warm light fluros's 45w for FLOWER cycle.... 5+ per plant will do the job

if your planning on growin these things indoors till harvest you need a light timer.. its just that simple... u cant just rely on being home all the time to turn the lights on and off.. you'll just end up with a bunch of hermies come 3-4 weeks of flowering and wonder what went wrong if you are constantly manually turning the lights on/off

I am growing indoors with 20/4, in Alaska light outside in the summer was up to 22 hours of daylight and marijuana grew there very fast. I do not believe in the 18/6 for vegging to be the best. I believe the more light and under climate controlled conditions it will yield more and grow faster under more light.:eyesmoke:
